Receive with glue like “stuff” all over. Cleaned without soap like you should with any aquarium items. This thing must give off a horrific smell because my shrimp, that loved their old feeder, get near this and dart off. I put my old feeder(shorter) in my tank; within a couple of hours they were in it.It was a bit before I used this and threw away my packaging, I wish I would have saved it, because this thing would be going back.

This feeding tube states in the description that the tube is acrylic and the dish is glass. The feeding dish is NOT glass, rather acrylic/plastic. The feeding dish has to stay screwed to the tube or it will float, which defeats my original purpose of using the tube only when feeding rather then mounting it in my tank.
