This is a nice toilet seat. Its best feature was easy installation. I also very much like the design pattern.

I purchased these several years ago and just wanted to say that they still look like new and look great in my bathrooms. The border pattern is a nice touch, as most lids are just plain. Note that the finish is delicate so only clean with mild soap and water. If you tend to dribble on the rim, you will want to wipe away any of that because it will eventually stain the finish.

Great product, very sturdy and easy to clean

Very attractive & well made sturdy commode seat. My only issue is that you cannot use Clorox or other strong cleaners on it or it will wear off the paint. The instructions do tell you to use soap & water but I feel a commode seat needs something stronger to kill germs.

I want to give 5 stars as I absolutely loved the design. A few days in, as I scooted forward, the whole seat “popped” off. I now see other reviewers had this issue. The seat is attached by a post with a bunch of little plastic teeth. If and when pressure pulls them upward, the whole seat pops off. A different post is needed. I may try trying to replace it ?? As I love the seat itself.

The toilet seat cracked after 9 months. Based on my weight, it seems the weight limit is about 150 pounds. It also was initially advertised as a slow close, but it's not, so could be from slamming shut since I'm used to slow closing seats. I replaced it since it cracked on both sides and just a matter of time before that part breaks off completely. I like the look of it, so am very disappointed. If you're near 150 pounds, may crack due to weight.

I have just received the toilet seat (UK), and discovered a fitting problem. On the Amazon listing it does not give the pitch of the mounting holes. The two bolts that mount it are fixed with 5.5 inch centres. Our toilet has 6.5 inch centres. I liked the quality of the seat, so I disassembled it and move each hinge outwards by 0.5 inches. I used pilot holes of 2.5mm diameter and 10mm deep.In addition the listing, and the packaging, information, indicate that the hinges have some type of quick release mechanism, which I cannot work out how to operate. I do not wish to remove the seat to find out how they work, because I feel some of the fittings may not work as well if re-installed,so I am hoping that someone may post how they work.I would buy again, but it was not quite what I expected.
