A great scope for the $$$ . . . No bench should be without one!
Works great right out of the box. Boots quickly, Latency isn't bad . . . renders the waveform quickly. Has a lot of features for an 'entry level' scope. Blows the doors off my old Tektronix 321A and my Hitachi V220. The ONLY two issues I can find is 1. This scope will NOT independently trigger both channels simultaneously. You can only choose Ch1 or Ch2 to trigger the sweep. The Hitachi (1980's vintage) has 'V-Mode'. The other issue is the resolution of the trace. Could be better. However, this is a very serviceable scope for the $$$. A year ( April 2018 ) has passed and I still like this scope!

Nice, quality scope at a good price / 2-channel, 100 MHz
I looked over many scopes on the market. Some were 4 channels, others were 2 channels. In the end, I decided to go with Siglent because it was at least 2 channels and I wanted at least 100 MHz. So I was happy in the end. The manual that came with the scope was good quality and the authors did a good job in translation. Overall, the unit is well laid out and the settings, dials, etc. just make sense. This is my first "professional" scope and I'm still learning a lot, but this guy is perfect for beginners too, I think. There may be a few shortcomings that I don't know about yet since I am a novice, but I don't see anything and I'm very pleased.Although I'm not qualified to offer a full-blown review, I'd say one couldn't go wrong with this product.

Tried several "B" class scopes. This ones seems to be a winner.
Read several reviews and watched a few YouTube tear downs and demos.Because of the lower price on Amazon and Siglent was offering a free serialprotocol decode unlock key for a limited time I thought I'd give it a shot.So far so good. I especially like the large crisp display and thevery intuitive menu system. Fan is quiet. Tons of features and functions.Fast booting. Memory depth and screen update is pretty awesomefor a scope in this price range.Cons so far: Power button is not a real on / off ac switch, seems to justgo into "sleep" mode with the power button throbbing green.Sort of annoying to me.Included software for scope capture and controlfor Win-Tel PC is pretty lame when you can get it to work.No biggie. Front heavy! Keep the feet in front in "out" position.Serial decoding is very basic, and tweaky.I use Tektronix 100 MHz probes instead of the cheap probesthat came with scope. Does make a difference.Be sure to check the Siglent US site for a firmware updatesThe scope I bought had outdated firmware. I was able toupdate it with no problems to ver. P06For a 100 bucks more I think this scope gives you way more bang for the buckthat the other "B" class scopes in the $350 to $399 range.

Just a amazing tool!
Great oscilloscope, best value!!! Great for any hobbyist gets the job done! Great product! Best part any of the features/software that are downloaded to the oscilloscope don't go away after a period of time like the cheaper products (so what you get out of the box doesn't disappear so to speak in terms of software.) But you still have to pay for some features if you want them! Such as the Wave Gen. But this product does come with a decoder software free and the best part the software doesn't stop working after a period of time like some of the other cheaper products from other companies. This is what I call a whole scope not half of one!

Wonderful oscilloscope
I've had this 'scope for some time now and absolutely love it. I've always been a Tektronix user but I've been converted. The size is great and the functionality exceeds anything I could expect. The display is large, clear and stable. I've recommended it to several friends who have bought one and their opinion has been equal to mine.

Great scope!!!
I love this scope. Very easy to use and complete instructions on PDF. I have had no problem. I did click for Amazon to repackage it and that didn't happen, but it was very well packaged and arrived in good shape but with content labels on it. I started out on Textronix 535 and also used a Heathkit scope at home for 30 years. This is amazing technology and very well thought out. I have used other digital scopes that I thought were useless!

USB port doesn't work. Hidden deffect.
Tried to update the firmware but the USB port doesn't work. Formatted all usb pen drives as fat32 like instructed by the user manual but still not working. Tried to save screenshots and also not working. Problem with the USB port. Tried to returned but out of warranty, what about hidden defects? I bought this scope late Octobert/2015.

Very Impressive.
Have not had this long enough for a through review however it seems to do what you would expect a scope to do. Most of my previous experience with scopes (a few decades ago) was with the Tektronix variety that needed an equipment cart to haul them around and cost a lot of money. To be able to have a high quality scope at this price point and in this physical package is very impressive. For those familiar with ham radio, the April 2006 issue of QST magazine has an excellent review of this specific Siglent model.

The picture of the product is mis leading, the top back is not black but grey. and the back is not slim like suggested it's actually a heavy duty Oscilloscope that you have to keep around on the desk and can't carry it anywhere. Aside from that the product is fine
