AMAZING
I had installed this in under an hour, replaced my FanTech kit for my bathroom. I had to just add another box into my attic just because I kept the FanTech light kit built into the low profile grilles. It had a noticeable sound starting up, but once it's running the POWER and noise is low key white noise. I haven't taken a shower yet to notice the heat change.... but coming from 270 CFM to this? I can notice the power change in suction already! The appearence is a nice satin black, I attached this to the attic bracing that I had already had installed for support and ment for a fan.UPDATE:::: I absolutely love this fan, after numerous showers and baths, zero issue even decided to run the hot water heater dry on full blast to see if it will wreck the bathroom.... and not an issue! It is noisey on startup but it might be how I have it attached via to the attic beam. I'll look into adding a rubber bushing between the bracket and beam. But 10/10 for an amazing fan!

Kind of chunky and noisy, just like me
It certainly moves air, but other fan is about 12" across and pretty noisy even when it's hooked up to duct work. There are probably better options out there than this product.

Powerful fan, no mount included in box
Mine must’ve been an open box or “like new”because Of sime dings and dents in it The fan runs like a bat out of hell. It’s noisy, yet efficient and seems like it will be capable of getting the job done. My order came with no mounting bracket (someone above mentioned they had the same issue). Anyways, i had an extremely difficult time finding a makeshift bracket to attach to the fan in order to hang it. Considering sending it back, but not certain yet. Otherwise a good fan.

Wow!
We installed ductless units awhile back... And didn't want to mount a head in our son's room.We were using a 6" inline fan from a retail box store that starts with L... And it wasn't moving hardly any air into his room.We rearranged the piping in the attic to suc air from master bedroom and push into his room...This unit is like 10x as powerful as the box store inline fan! So powerful that his vent now rattles. LolIt's moving air like never before!Now... The negative...The mounting bracket at the bottom is combersome to work with in my opinion. But once it's secure... It's secure.Another downfall is the lips protruding out for the vents... Yeah... It works... But a little longer shaft on the input/ output would make it a lot easier to connect the vents. She makes a ton of noise on start up.... But once going it's not too bad.It may sound like a white noise generator... But it's moving a ton of air.Lastly.. . If u have any dust bunnies in your vents... Be prepared for them to shoot out the other side. No joke . This thing is powerful.

Made in China
The fan IS good. Based on some of the reviews I expected that this fan was made in Germany, but it was made in CHINA.

Moves air! Not suitable for carbon scrubber
Air leaks out of the side of the fan where it is pieced together. If you are trying to use this for smell reduction beware.
