Absolute classics!

The 4k discs are fantastic, and the additional bonus disc is very welcome. It would have been 5 stars had we received the updated 1080p Blu-rays the US got, which contain even more bonus material sadly not included here.

The picture and audio quality is excellent (if you buy a 4K TV, do not limit yourself to Netflix and Disney+ or Amazon Prime… the streaming quality is very very far behind UHD Blu-Ray discs, bitrate is not a comparison the streaming service get anywhere close at).The HDR does transform the movies, I have never watched Ghostbusters I like this… colours and the scenes at nighttime and during the day look so much more realistic than ever.

These new 4K UHD discs are excellent transfers. A highlight is the new bonus features on both movies. The intro to the cinema exhibitors by Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd is a lot of fun on Ghostbusters. Then a full length feature on Ghostbusters 2 of the Oprah special with most of the cast is a great addition and evokes memories!

UK fans beware it's not the steel book it's the exact same case's as the first 4k release with the added bonus disc of the US steel book release. Which are fantastic for us Ghostbusters fans. I just feel a little cheated by Sony. We wait a year longer and they cheap out and just add the bonus disc. 5 star movies 4 star release. Proof Sony dont care. If you look at the quality of the original star wars trilogy 4k and compare to this you've gotta ask why so much grain. It's not awful but could be better.

The remastered version of Ghostbusters 1 and 2 picture quality was clear cut. The sound quality was excellent as well.It is well worth the buy on Blu Ray. This was my second Blu Ray film that I have purchased.

Bought the 4K version. The normal Blu-Ray are ok, but the 4K is extremely grained.This is considered as a Real 4K, but looks more like an upscale 1080p with grains added.
