NURI Portuguese Sardines in Spiced Olive Oil - 10 Pack - (4.4 oz cans)

I thought I would hate sardines, but these are an amazing source of healthy protein after a long day of work when I feel lazy I throw some Mediterranean vegetables in the air fryer pour the olive oil from the can and season those before cooking them until they’re about ready and then I toss the sardines in and let it continue until I have a low effort tasty meal!

Excellent flavor & consistent density.

These sardines are great. I like them for two reasons, taste and no internal parts. They are a bit on the spicy side so be aware of that.

I watched this guy on YouTube who just eats canned seafood products. He liked this one so Gave it a try. It's very good and will get again. I'm doing Van Life so it's nice to have another shelf stable food option.

These are really good sardines. Be aware though, they are spicy.

I've been trying a lot of sardine brands available here on Amazon, and constantly see good reviews for NURI, so I decided to give them a shot. They're a bit more expensive than some other brands but I believe that the value is there.The quality of the sardines themselves is clear. Nice firm texture, delicious flesh, not mushy. The oil seems decent as well.Downside for me is the spice flavor. Heavy on the warm spice notes (there was a whole clove in the can), light on the spiciness. It tastes good at first, but I got tired of the aroma a few bites in. Furthermore, it limits applications for these sardines other than eating them straight out of the can. I've removed a star for that; next time I buy from this brand -- which I certainly will -- I'll go for unflavored instead.All in all a very good product, with slight reservations!
