Needs a decent amount of sunlight to stay lit all night but good not great but good product. I ordered about 7 and they work well

Pros: easy install, motion detection is good, $0 electric bill, and solar charge during the day even though not directly under the sun, we have trees but still charge.Cons: not bright enough, but will auto adjust to 100% once movement is detected.Recommended if you're on budget and wants something cheap.Eventually, I purchase a 500W solar street light for my backyard with a different brand for a $100 more. which is Bright enough to lit up my yard. You'll have to do research on your own for this one.

Quick and pretty simple solution for outdoor lighting but the solar panels need at least several hours of DIRECT sunlight. Being in Oregon with lots of trees in my neighborhood this can be difficult.If you live in a shady area, you are better off going with a hard wired solution or detaching, placeable solar panels.

This one is large , brighter and the solar panel is huge and last longer than my other solar light, is heavy and also come with stand, very good so far .

I was disappointed that only one side of the light worked with motion detection.

We have been using this light (one) for a number of days now and it offers a decent amount of brightness for what it is. Sometimes, you never know what you are going to get with a solar light as some of the models out there are quite dim and pointless. This one however, seems to offer enough light to properly act as a security light.It is hard to compare to the lumens of a good wired light (which is expected), however, it still does pretty good being that it is just a solar light. It is enough to light a small area with light. Any more than that though and you will need multiple lights. If you need a larger area to be lit and only want one light, then a wired solution is still your best bet.We took it to the ground as a path light, to see how it does, and boy does it light the way. In fact, it appears that when you use it close to the ground like that, it remains in high beam mode because it never changes to dim, which is odd. Because of this, it can be a little too bright for a ground light when it is bright at all times. So it might get moved again to see if there is a better use for it up high somewhere.The quality of the light seems pretty durable. It would be nice to be able to control the brightness and the motion sensor manually for use on the ground, but for the price, it goes an amazing job. It doesn't seem to be a good replacement for normal décor lighting (yard/tree lighting). So just keep in mind that this is for security no matter if it is up high or down low (not décor).It did arrive with one of the lights popped out of the base with the wires showing. I don't know if this happened when it was originally packaged into its retail box, or if it was during shipment. Thankfully, it snapped/popped right back into place and doesn't feel like it is going to ever pop out on its own or anything.So far, the battery life seems to be pretty good. The only way to know for sure is after long-term use, to see if it still goes into late hours of the night. You want to have at least 5 hours of sunlight every day to keep the batteries topped off so that you aren't slowly decreasing in capacity over time.
