When the pump is off does water stop flowing through the system completely?

There is a solenoid between the first two pre-filters so when the pump is off water stops there. I think placement of the solenoid is in the wrong as it does mean that when you first turn it on the pump will be running dry whilst the second pre-filter fills up.

Yes you can, i also have a marine aquarium which was my main reason for purchasing this, it works great and produces 0 tds water, i also brought a inline tds meter to go with it and it is producing better quality water than i was buying from my local fish shop, you can always add an extra stage later if you really wanted to, but at the moment 4 stage is just perfect, would recommend a inline TDS meter to monitor when filters need changing though

can this be left outdoors when running?

The instructions have a caution do not use the equipment outdoors and do not place in direct sunlight. I run my unit under a sink waste pipe from the unit into the sink waste. The unit works great and the Finest Filters company will answer all enquiries. Hope this helps you.

Perfect little RO machine

Ordered this to replace a cheaper model to make RO water for my marine fish tank. I previously had a smaller model with no pump and I wish I upgraded sooner! Makes RO much faster, and handy having a build in pump. A lot neater than having a separate pump. Shut off valves at every point needed for added safety when not making water, pump is very quiet. With my water pressure I can now make 25L of RO in approx 30 minutes. Would recommend to anybody looking for a top quality RO machine at an affordable price.

Very easy to install

I saw a lot of other reviews stating these have bad instructions and are difficult to set up. It's as simple as, open each chamber, remove the plastic wrap and reinstall then tighten up. Same deal with the Membrane. Had it up and running in about 10mins and so far has made me a very clean 25L of 0TDS water for my Aquarium. One thing to note is the piping and routing of said pipes may need fiddled around/sponges put it if you have it somewhere where ratting is an issue. Mine had a single connector that rattled off the bracket with the resonance of the pump. Tiny bit of sponge in the right place stopped that. Fit nicely under my sink. Can't vouch for customer service/aftersales as I've not needed to use it yet!

Works as it should

I think 100g/d is slightly exaggerated. Took me hour and half to collect 25 l of pure 0 TDS water. It's perfect for marine tank

Good unit

Good unit. Came with a leak though, so had to sort that out first. Already got another RO unit for fish, so use this one along side. Word of advice, even though these units say 100gpd they realistically don’t produce that. A 300 gpd would of suited me better, hence why I have two, it worked out cheaper. Than buying another 300 gpd unit. But you live and learn. On the whole good unit- pleased

superb unit, good price

I've had several RO units over the years and have to say this is probably the best. Build quality is excellent. Instructions are very clear. Works perfectly and has an excellent production rate. This is also the only unit I've had where the pressure switches actually work properly.
