Rosewood Snuffle Forage MAT for Small Animals

I bought this item as it seemed to be an appropriate size, well made, affordable, and not obnoxious looking. My skinny pigs love it! My 6yo knew what to do immediately, and my 1yo (who is timid) understood what to do as soon as he got over his hesitancy of a new object in their cage. Super fun for them and a solid purchase in my opinion. Good boredom buster!

Overall, it's a decent product. Accurately advertised, though the fabric feels more like a thick felt than fleece. It made it through the washer once already and air dried just fine. The straps/flaps are not sewn on or secured, they're threaded through holes in the base of the mat.Both of my rats approve. I'll try it out it with my guinea pigs in the future.Edit: The guinea pigs won't be using this mat because one of them tried to eat it right away. Smh

it’s super cute and mg boys love it! it’s washable which i like but once you wash it the fabric starts kind of looking funny but it still works great! I have bought two for both my boys!

It’s very cute and adds a pop of color. It’s great fun and enrichment for my guinea pigs. It’s not very big but I actually appreciate that because it leaves more room for activity.

It’s not a big item at all. Finkel is a NZ white and hood size, he would cover the entire mat. Plus the green grass snuffle things aren’t sown in, so after an hour, I had green strings everywhere. Other than that, if you have a small bunny, it should be fine!

Didnt realize all the pieces would come right out the first time my bunny went foraging in it.Every day more of the felt pieces be pulls out. Would have been cool but terrible design.

I grew to love this mat, at first I was worried about how chewing it up instead of using it to forage for pellets, but get caught on quick! He loves to lay halfway on it and play in it. To clean it I shake it out and then wash it, and it’s held up well. Good product.

My bigger guinea pigs used it well and just went straight for the treats the material seems nice but it's felt, because of this my youngest piggie started to eat the felt itself pulling the material apart . I was afraid she would try to eat the felt and get sick so I removed it immediately. It's a shame because the mat is so cute , but my piggies health come first and I just really don't feel safe leaving them with this .

Altro gioco utilissimo per il coniglio. Mettendo i pellet o qualcosa di appetibile si divertirà a trovarlo come che stesse mangiando tra l'erba vera. Il mio coniglio ci perde ore.

My rabbit is a big chewer, so I was unsure whether the product would last longer than a day due to that.I have been impressed to find it is still intact a few weeks later, showing no signs of wear. This is either because 1. It’s designed in such a way material-wise that they don’t have any desire to chew it or 2. The material used can endure a certain level of nibbling. Chances are both apply to an extent, as my rabbit does like to chew some interesting items, even if they aren’t typically seen as ‘chewable’ to most rabbits, so if he has had a nibble the material is clearly tough enough that it’s not worth his time.On top of all this, he absolutely loves his snuffle mat, and now has his entire portion of pellets hidden in it alongside some meadow mix in the mornings. If I am slightly delayed in giving it to him he is actively looking for it, and it keeps him occupied in a semi-natural way as it encourages foraging for food rather than just being given it in an ordinary food bowl.
