This stuff is great. Creamy texture but you need to work fast when molding hair. I spike my hair and this is perfect. Not waxy at all. Holds a long time.

It works well and holds up in the heat. I don't care for the sticky feeling that it leaves in my hair or on my hands

Update: I originally gave it 1 star but I want to update as I don't think I gave it a fair review. So on my first review, I said it came from India and it does say the product was opened due to customs check for international shipping (which I found out after writing the first review). That may explain why the product wasn't sealed as I know Gatsby always seals their products. Because the product wasn't sealed, I was not going to use it but decided to try it. Most Gatsby product has a light shampoo fragrance but it's not too bad on this product. Now, this one is for "Solid Mohawk" look with "Extreme & Firm" hold. From my experience, it doesn't quit hold for a mohawk and I don't think it's extreme and firm at all. But, it does last long. I have a semi short hair so I might not get full mohawk but I like to have volume where I can lift up and let it hang there and this product does just that. At first when you put it in your hand, it feels like watered down lotion. Once you rub it around the inside of my palms and hand it slowly becomes little sticky. Then when you put in in your hair, it will eventually become stickier and that's when I can form it and shape it the way it feels. I don't think it'll harden the way many people will like, but it's light hard. Also I am able to mold and shape my hair throughout the day, which I like. I have a lot of Gatsby wax, and I think this one I will use more often now. So far, I am liking this product.

Doesn't build up or leave residue. Once I've applied this in the morning, all I do is run my fingers through it throughout the day and it looks great. I have a short (ear length or so) hairstyle and essentially, straight hair. I can build the volume throughout by using some at the roots, and then pulling some spikier chunks to shape it. I haven't found any other hair wax that holds as well without a heavy masculine scent, and the price is very reasonable, given how long it lasts. I've used on hair, both wet and dry, and although dry works a little better, this still helps give shape. Depending on how it's applied, it can give either a wet or dry appearance. Scent is very light and smells fresh. Since I've only had short hair for a few months, I didn't realize at first that it really needs to be warmed in your hands first. Do that! It makes a big difference.

Needed pomade for the first time and Gatsby did exactly what I expected. I love it!! It lasted all day. I was able to use it to create a brand new part in my hair as well. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

This is the perfect wax , it's non stick or greasy , provides a strong hold for even medium length hairs , the best one out of all gatsby wax.

Discovered this stuff in the Philippines. Had to buy some when i got back - its the best hair product I've used. It's a bit like cement for your hair - it looks really runny initially - but within minutes it sets and keeps your hair in place for longer than any other product I've used unless you wash your hair properly. This product kept my mohawk/faux-hawk standing for 3 days in a row in just one application! Great stuff - wish they started selling it in the UK!

Like the heading states, really dries out every strand of hair. Longer term use results in damage to hair strands in the form of split ends and dandruff
