He can't write a bad book in my opinion This is definitely in my top 3 series by him Definitely worth the read

While these books are absolutely fantastic (I thoroughly recommend this series!), the way these have been strapped together/shrink wrapped is absolutely awful and has damaged and deformed all of the books. The books on the ends of the piles have been deformed by how tight the plastic strips were around the pile, as well as the edges of the covers on the outer edges of the bundle being damaged. The edges of the spines on all 5 books are also damaged. Bent cover corners and scratches on the outer 2 books is also an issue. While this doesn't impact the ability to read the books, it's very sad to see brand new books already showing the kind of wear and damage I'd expect of books a minimum of a few years in use.

Ordered this set as a Christmas present, and it’s a good thing I opened the Amazon parcel before Christmas! As when I opened it, I found myself looking at not a nice matching set of books as was advertised but instead finding one book to be in a completely different style and another having a gloss finish whilst the rest were matte. Other reviews show them getting a complete set whilst I find myself with two books which are unlike the rest in the set. Very disappointed!!

What can I say? What a beautiful artwork.

Have a read a better 5 book fantasy series? No. Did Weeks mess around and create a masterpiece? Yes. Book 1 was good, but not something to tell your grand kids about. I almost gave up on the series after that. So glad I didn't. I opened book 2 because I was bored and oh boy was that a good idea. I was shocked at how deep the world suddenly got and how horribly wrong I was about thinking the world was predictable. Everything I had so confidently predicted was wrong and books 3 and 4 disappeared through my tired retinas and into my brain before I even knew what happened. I was half way through through book 5 before I realized I was binging something so great that it probably should have been savored. Weeks went all out in book 5 and answered every question had in addition to the ones I didn't even know I was supposed to be asking. Up there with WoT and Stormlight with my favorite fantasy series to date.

Bücher waren "Verbogen", es wurde nicht durchgehend das selbe Papier verwendet, es sind teils stark sichtbare farbunterschiede zwischen den Büchern zu sehen. Die Papierqualität ist ziemlich schlecht. Top Bücherreihe, aber leider keine gute Druckqualität. Diese Sammlung kann ich nicht empfehlen.
