I love these!
These are awesome. I put seeds in them and take them to plant swaps. Much better then plastic bags as they are biodegradable!

The BEST seed starting bags ever. Seriously. I have been in awe for a few months now...
Really like these biodegradeable bags. They seem small, but i actually prefer this size for all garden seeds like veggies and herbs. Even watermelon and squash/cukes, maryjane and flowers do awesome in these bags.I have been using these guys about a month or 2 and have noticed a huge difference. Not only do more seeds germinate, but they germinate and grow faster and a lot stronger/healthier as well. I think it has to do with the bottom watering, as well as the air these bags provide the soil/seeds.The roots easily grow straight through the bag. If you check the pic out showing the roots that was only 2 weeks after i sowed the seeds.Another thing ive noticed is the plants don't become too bound at all. Because the bags allow the roots to pop out they instead shoot out in all directions. They do not stand up by theirself. You have to use something to hold them up-like a tray. I personally use the white 1010 trays from bootstrap farmers, and i can fit 20 of these bags in 1 tray. That's 20 plants in a 10inch by 10inch space. And thats only if you put 1 seed in each bag. For the flowers i do 4 or 5 per bag and they are doing fine. These are a space saver for sure. One thing i do need to mention is they can be a bit of a time hog to fill. My suggestion is to get a small hand held shovel and use that to fill these. Before i got the shovel i just used my hands, putting my pointer and middle finger together and using that as a slide to funnel the soil in from my palm. You have to remember to pack the soil down after every handful or 2. If you dont you will end up with air pockets in the soil. And we both know thats no good. As long as you take your time to fill them properly youll be ok. If i had to guess it takes me about 10 minutes to fill 20 of these. It is a longer process than filling up 'normal' seed starting trays but is 1,000% worth it imo.The only other thing id like to mention is be careful when filling these. If you don't hold the seams you will rip the bags. When i press the soil down i just hold the bags from the side on the seam to ensure they dont rip. Once you've pressed the soil down theres nothing to worry about. The only time i use bigger bags is when starting fruit seeds. Like sugar apple, berries, soursop, sapodilla etc.It hasn't been long enough to know if they will decompose. I will keep an eye on it and update(if i remember) within next few months. These have changed my gardening life. I will NEVER use a different method of seed starting ever again. They are totally worth the hype.Normally i don't take this much time to write a review, but i am seriously in love with these. I am just a regular gardener putting out my own personal experience and opinions on these biodegradeable bags.

Super easy to use
They work great in my garden instead of using plastic cups. No mess.

Effective but not Efficient
These grow bags are ok and work as intended. I purchased for volume/price benefit but would not purchase again. I anticipated the issues as far as how long it would take to fill them vs. a growing tray, that they would have to be propped upright, etc. I thought the cost benefit outweighed the issues, but no longer feel that way after using them. The bags were durable enough and I prob only had one or two rip when filling approx. 100 bags. However, these bags dry out very fast and keeping young seedlings watered properly while hardening them off was extremely difficult. Also, I did not anticipate that roots would grow through the bag and rather than air prune, the roots grew together with plants in neighboring bags (I had multiple bags compressed tightly in a tray together to keep all the bags upright). I did plant these directly into the garden (plant plus bag), and the zinnias I started in them are doing well. I plan to dig the bags back out of the ground in the fall once the annuals die off. Overall, I liked these better than peat pots and handmade paper pots which I found molded quickly and decomposed too slowly to plant directly in the ground. However, I have already switched back to plastic grow trays for the next round of seedlings.

Totally Superb for my needs!
and these bags are sturdy. They take some time to fill but I use a small teaspoon and it fills up quickly without spillage. I pack it down every few teaspoons. I am using it predominantly for tomato plants, herb seeds and tea camellia plant seeds that I collected from my tea camellia.Only a few have not sprouted. No worries, I simply replant and reuse the bag.I am about to transplant these so I cannot comment on the biodegradable ability, but I do note that the roots are growing outside the bag which is good!No complaints whatsoever. I will never use peat pots again.

Wonderful for sensitive seedlings and root crops.
These biodegradable seed nursery bags have replaced peat pots for sensitive seedlings and root crops in our garden. They are economical and easy to use, and they last longer than peat pots before planting.

Easy to fill
The media could not be loaded. I filled these up and put my seeds in last week. I already have plants coming up and don't have to water much as they are holding the water great. They seem like they will hold up great for transplanting!

Too small to fill
I would suggest getting compressed peat discs instead which expand in water. These are impossible to fill at this size
