Gears of War: The Poster Collection (Insights Poster Collections)

I am so happy with this poster book! I was expecting the typical magazine type poster book with pages you struggle to tear out, but this is not that at all. It is super high quality, thick poster board pieces. The book even has a cover slip. I kind of wish the posters weren't double sided, but it isn't really a huge issue. Lots of cool images, many different characters throughout Gears 1 - 3 + Judgement. For me personally, where it (sadly) lacks in Carmines, it makes up for in a pleasantly surprising amount of Paduk appearances. Really cool, awesome for any Gears fan, and I can't wait to hang many of these posters up. I hope another one is made for the newer games!

Don't be put off by the Gears of War: Judgment cover if you're not a fan of that entry in the franchise: this collection of 20 very nice posters covers all the Gears games except Gears of War 4, plus some nice COG propaganda images and informational posters, like the ones seen all over Britain during World War 2. Okay, if I'm completely honest, besides being a Gears of War fangirl anyhow, I kind of...... bought it to drool (not literally) over the pics of Baird..... but anyway. The book is roughly A3 in size and the posters are fully detachable, but I wouldn't do so, because I suspect this might go on to become a collector's item (though I could easily be wrong), and it will be worth more if the individual posters haven't been removed. The artwork is absolutely brilliant, and Gears of War: Judgment fans will recognise some of the Judgment images in the collection as being available as computer wallpapers.

These posters, are AMAZING! Definitely surpassed my expectations! A square bound, collection of 40 Gears of War posters. Includes images from the first Gears, right up through Judgement. It has official Microsoft/Epic Games images, COG weapons, and even propaganda posters! Posters can be affixed directly to your wall, framed up, or even used as cool backgrounds, for action figures! Recommend 110%! 11/24/2020 *Loved them SO much, that I bought another for myself, and one for my son =)

Para empezar, lo que me disgusto, Y MUCHO!!!, estrictamente hablando NO SON 40 posters, esta impresos a doble cara, eso significa que si los quieres para adornar paredes (como en mi caso) tienes que escoger cual de los dos vas a usar, ya que estan A DOBLE CARA. A quien se le ocurrio eso?! Hay algunos que me gustan en ambos lados y ahora tengo que escoger cual de los dos voy a enmarcar/pegar. PESIMA decision.La otra, y eso ya sera gusto personal, varios de los posters tienen un look muy de computadora, me hubiera gustado ver mas posters de arte conceptual (que si hay, solo que no son tantos). Pero bueno eso es cuestion de gustos.Hay algunos posters que mas bien se sienten como relleno, y otros simplemente son... mñeh... por ejemplo uno de ellos es como una muestra de todas las armas locust... sin mucho mas, creo que no era necesario ese y hay tantas cosas de esta excelente franquicia, que sin problema se podrian sacar cosas mas interesantes.Pero tambien tiene cosas buenas, y esto es principalmente la CALIDAD del producto, las hojas no son hojas feas delgadas de poster, son hojas gruesas y de calidad, y la impresion es EXCELENTE, todo se ve genial.Otra cosa que me gusto es que vienen imagenes de TODA LA FRANQUICIA, los posters estan divididos por secciones, una seccion es de Gears of war Judgement, y luego vienen secciones para cada entrega, Gears of war 1, 2 y 3, asi que hay un poco de todo!!Esas son las cosas que le veo, lo compre para adornar un local, entonces en realidad yo solo voy a tener 20 posters, ya que iran en paredes, asi que tendre que escoger muy bien cual usar, y a no ser que los enmarque, pues un lado va a quedar arruinado con pegamento o cinta doble cara... sigo traumado con esta decision de hacer posters a doble cara.Pero bueno si para ti no es un problema eso, y eres fan de gears, creo que vas a estar feliz con la compra.

A great book and well worth the price, except that the bottom of the book is a bit crunched...it's minor and right on the start of the bottom spine...still love the images(posters) though.
