I bought the 1L bowl despite reviews saying it needed refilling often, etc. because of the huge price difference to the 2L. My dog weighs 73lbs and I do fill this bowl about 6-7x/day which I don’t think is any more than his previous bowl. This definitely helps with him slobbering everywhere after drinking water and works MUCH better than other brands with a floating top in the past. It doesn’t completely solve the slobber problem but it’s nothing in comparison to the water we had before. I’d definitely go for the larger bowl if it weren’t so expensive. $12.99 vs $49.99 ....so I went for the smaller.

This works great. Good design. I really should have gotten the larger size with two pets using it. However, this size fits perfectly in the space available. I just have to refill more often.

I like the concept and was looking for a water bowl which my kitty (6-lbs) would not be able to tip it over. Actually, she is very strong and spins her water bowl. She loves the challenge of tipping any size bowls (and style) over. Because of doing such, she ends up without any water during the entire day and very thirsty when I come home from work. The reason why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the 1-Liter bowl was too small. The other reviews mentioned that a smaller bowl may be better for a smaller pet. However, when I received it, I right away knew my kitty would be able to tip it over. It won't be heavy enough and the design on the top of the bowl is slanted down. I sent the1-Liter bowl back for a refund and ordered for the 2-Liter bowl. The 2-Liter bowl works perfectly. In fact, when my kitty first saw it, she tried to grab it with her little paws and even tried to work with the knob area. She was very determined to tip it over and spill the water out onto the floor. She couldn't do it. It is very well designed for pets like my kitty. Now I have peace of mind that I won't have a wet kitchen floor and my kitty won't be without water. It is pricey but it's worth it.

UPDATE: the little leak has become a much larger issue. The rubber tray I keep under the water bowl is flooded with water and there's barely any left in the reservoir just days after filling. Pretty much useless now but sadly can't get a refund since too much time has passed since I bought it.------------------------I’ve had this product for less than two months and while I love the concept and design, it leaks! Not a huge deal since I have a rubber mat under this water bowl for my cats but for someone using it as a travel bowl fair warning, mine leaks from one of the “feet” under the bowl.

The water bowl itself is quite small. The good thing about it is my cat cannot knock it over.

I use it for my 2 Maltese & 1 cat. They LOVE that it is constantly refilling w fresh water. No batteries, no pump. Just a small filter you change every now and then!

I mostly regard this as a fair product. It took the dogs several days to get used to it. They’d sniff it and acted as if it smelled funny. There was also a film that came over the water, despite several washings. And washing isn’t the best, you add a little detergent, shake and swish, then rinse. There’s no way to scrub. Lastly, the lid/knob doesn’t seat well, so the bowel fills with water, no matter if I set it to lock/close. It doesn’t overflow, so it’s still got some utility. So I’m keeping it.

This bowl keeps the water fresh lint dust free and no slim. There’s a lock button if you want to rinse what is out if tube. Awesome my daifhter has one too
