Great starter wedges at an unbeatable price point
Full disclosure, I’ve never owned a set of dedicated wedges before so I don’t exactly have a good baseline for comparison. However, I am very pleased with my purchase thus far!Obviously, these aren’t going to be “professional” quality clubs, but all evidence so far points to them being a great starter set of wedges and the price point is unbeatable for 4 clubs.I’ve only taken them out on the course one time so far, and didn’t take the them out to the range first as my dad happened to want to play 9 holes the same day I got them in the mail.So I was kind of figuring out the distance and loft on each club by the seat of my pants, but surprisingly by the 7th hole I was starting to have a really good feeling with them.Even though I played when I was young, I am essentially a novice golfer after taking 12 years off due to disability. I just took up the game again about 3 months ago, and even in my relatively inexperienced hands they produced very satisfying results. They grip the ball well and produce nice backspin, especially on the 60 and 64 degree wedges. I hit on shot onto the green with the 60 and the ball stopped dead in its tracks as soon as it hit the green without so much as a visible bounce. On the 9th hole I threw a ball into a sand trap just to try out the 56 degree sand wedge. I haven’t ever owned a sand wedge before, but on my first swing I got the ball up and out of the bunker for a ~25 yard shot. I could hardly hit the ball 10 yards out of the sand with my pitching wedge previously.A lot of people have commented on the quality of the grips, I personally found the grips to be quite comfortable. They are a very soft rubber with a lot of friction and you don’t have to grip the clubs with a lot of strength. But since the rubber is so soft I wouldn’t be surprised if the grips wear out quickly. I’ll keep the original grips on until such a time.I’ll keep my pitching wedge in the bag for longer shots, because the 52 degree doesn’t hit quite as far as my pitching wedge that came with my full set of clubs.I saw the other reviews of some people who had them break, so I sprung for the $11 protection plan Amazon offered at checkout just in case, however upon inspection they seem impressively sturdy. My guess is the clubs that broke for others had some kind of manufacturing defect, or perhaps they were swung into the ground with a lot of force. I’ll be surprised if I ever end up using that protection plan.I have a lot of practice to do to get to where I’m proficient and consistent with them, but I have no doubt that I can get there with this equipment and the proper effort. Are there better clubs out there, of course. As the price indicates they are a starter set. Given my low skill level I can’t imagine that I would get any significantly additional benefit from more expensive clubs anyway These are absolutely perfect for me, so 5 Stars!

Well packaged, great value!
I wasn’t very optimistic when I ordered this wedge set but to my surprise, the quality of these clubs rivaled some of the name brand clubs that are currently in my bag. They look great, and the fit and finish is exceptional! Grooves were nice and sharp, grips were comfortable and properly aligned, and the balance felt great. For the price, you really can’t go wrong!

Nice wedges
I just received these wedges and have only been to the range once with them, but so far I am impressed with these. They look good, and hit some good shots with them. I hope to play a round or two over the next week or so.

Long time golfer. Great set. Read before buying wedges!!!
First, the review. This set is actually pretty great. The club heads arent too large but aren't small. That have a nice pop and plenty of spin if you know to work it. The steel shafts are okay for my purposes but I wouldn't be raw dogging then from down range. Use a different club. The grips are...okay.. generic but suitable until you upgrade them. They look pretty clean and fancy. Enough to make people oogle over them. I gave 4 stars because I personally didn't like the grips. That's about it but deserves 5 start. Don't let the "made in China" fool you. Plenty of clubs are made and or assembled in China and you don't even know it.Second.. Read up on wedges and their purpose vs what you as a golfer can do with one in your hands. Is the average golfer absolutely NEEDING significant back spin on the green to back that pro V1x up against the pin?? No.. you can spend 6X as much on a wedge and get the same spin as you can with these. A fancy expensive club won't fix your game. These will get the job done for the cost and are pretty dang good. I use them within 20 yards of the green and over short bunkers but practice with the higher lofted ones before you get to the course. What sold me was the cost. I needed a new sand wedge and pitching wedge for around the green the won't come out too hot. The lob wedges will help me in those short sides shots instead of having to open the club face up too much.

sturdy clubs, accurate loft and bounce, arrived carefully wrapped/boxed
the clubs were wrapped in bubble wrap, and also each club head was sealed with plastic wrap (one of the photos I attached shows the sealed plastic wrap on the clubhead). I went to the driving/chipping range and spent an hour testing all 4 clubs. The clubs are steel shaft and blade back (not cavity back). They may feel heavy if you are used to graphite shafts and cavity back clubheads. I like the weighted feel, especially around the greens. the clubs weigh 300g each according to the manufacturer. I tested these clubs on hard-pan tight lies, and also fluffy grass lies. The bounce is 8, 12,6, and 4 respectively for the 52,56,60, and 62 angled wedges. I am not an expert on bounce but the 56* club was my favorite on regular grass--I assume because I have a steeper swing angle and it had the highest bounce rating. (low bounce is for tighter lies and shallow swings; high bounce is for steeper swings and flufflier lies). The 60* was the best for the hard-pan lies for my swing and style. I am a 6 handicap but I am CHEAP! i haven't spent over $500 for a set of clubs in my life. I am satisfied these clubs are a good value. The one negative for me was the grips. These grips feel 'rubbery'. I like the feel of a corded grip so i will change these grips. But that is just a personal preference (and yes, i change my own grips because I am too cheap to pay someone $10 in labor per club to do it for me).

Randy loves these clubs
I appreciate the value, build quality, and finish of the golf clubs. I also appreciate the weighted feel and heavy soles. They have great performance.
