It's a very large stencil. The birds come in various sizes on a large sheet of mylar. Not exactly a pattern but it gives you the freedom to stencil the birds as you'd like. The picture on the description shows a pattern that can be achieved from using the stencil.

The bird stencils worked well. They were used to decorate a playhouse, and were much admired.

I really like the stencil. I have already used it in Mixed Media Art. This is a work in progress.

I love them! I tape them on the wall with painters tape temporarily.
