Before I provide any review or feedback on any item I purchase I really take my time in using it first so that I am able to provide an honest, unbiased and true review. Almost all of the items I've purchased on Amazon have been of 5-star caliber. Sadly, this car cover is the first item I'm reviewing that is not of 5-star or even 4-star caliber.Pro's:***Both the inside and outside material of this car cover is of very good quality. When you spray water on the outside material, the water will drip down due to its waterproof characteristic. Also, due to this waterproof characteristic, it allows you to easily wipe down/clean the cover. The inside material is of cotton like texture quality and is quite soft. This is a good characteristic for the inside of a car cover since this will help prevent scratches to your car's paint... 5-star***Even with elastic bands sewn in on the front and back end of the cover. It comes with 3 plastic buckle straps located in the front, back and middle bottom ends of the cover. These straps allow you to securely keep the cover down and not getting blown away from your vehicle during windy days. The buckle pieces are similar to what you would typically find on a school backpack or laptop backpack. So, they are at least of 4-star quality when it comes to durability. Even though the straps are of thinner quality, they are actually quite durable. I wish the manufacturer utilized thicker quality straps because if you do not go the extra mile of tying down the ends of the straps after you have buckled and tightened them down. On days that are very windy, the straps will actually slip out from the plastic buckle. This actually occurred 3x times on my cover... 4.5 stars.***The waterproof carrying bag really does come in handy and does not occupy a lot of space in the trunk of your vehicle... 5 starsCon's:***Durability - - - My primary use of this car cover was to keep my black car covered and protected from dust and the damaging UV rays of the sun. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of an indoor garage which leaves my vehicle exposed to the elements all the time. I purchased my car cover on 03/26/2023 and received it 2-days later. On 03/29/2023, I began using the car cover on my car and leave it on all the time except when I need to use the vehicle. I work from home full-time so the car cover stays on my vehicle almost all the time. As of 08/28/2023, just a little over 5-months from when I originally purchased the cover, it is no longer usable due to the outer shell material of the cover turning brittle and cracking. Once the outer shell material brittles and cracks you can only really use it during dry weather days. Water will penetrate through the outer shell material once it has brittled and cracked which kind of turns this car cover from an outdoor/indoor cover to an indoor cover only.In addition, I've also found that once the outer shell material has brittled and cracked you almost have to handle the cover with kid gloves especially when you try to fold it away for storage. Even if you take this extra careful step, both the inside and outside material will very likely tear/fall apart which is what happened in my case. This has basically left 2 medium sized tears on the area of the cover that would protect the hood area of my vehicle. Some of you may then suggest "Why not just use duct tape on the torn sections?" Due to the waterproof nature of the material of the cover's outer shell, duct tape or any other similar product will not adhere to the material. In short, once the cover develops a hole or tear its pretty much unusable as a car cover. The only reason why I would be giving 2-stars and not 1-star for durability is due to the inner soft lining staying soft in spite of the outer shell material breaking down and cracking... 2 stars***Shipping Quality Control - - - This issue is likely the fault of Amazon (shipper) and not the seller/manufacturer (iCarCover). At the time I placed my order, I chose the C5 fit which was for a Sedan/Coupe with a 180-189" measurement. About a month ago, I found a small product information sheet in the original box that indicated that the cover that was actually shipped to me was a C6 fit which is for a Sedan/Coupe with a 190-199" measurement. That would then explain as to why the car cover looked a little big for my car. Just for reference, my car is a 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited LTZ which according to GM has an overall length of 181". The only reason I did not return or do an exchange for the correct size is because I did not immediately notice the product information sheet when I first received the cover. I did not notice the product information sheet until 4 months later which was already passed the return/exchange window... 1-starOverall Conclusion:What makes this car cover somewhat decent are the soft inner material and the buckle straps. The soft inner material really helps keep your car's paint from getting scratched. The buckle straps really do help in keeping the cover buckled/strapped down to your vehicle on very windy days. But what ruin's it for this car cover is the durability of the outer/exterior shell material. I expected that part of the cover to last, at the least, 12-months. But barely a little over 5-months later, the outer shell has brittled, cracked, developed 2 medium sized tears and has rendered the cover complete useless. For a car cover that markets itself to be an all-weather cover, you would expect that it would last much longer than just 5-months. You will definitely get at least (and likely even more) 12-months of use from this car cover if you used it strictly as an indoor car cover and not as an outdoor/all-weather car cover... 2 stars..

I use my cover for my Mustang GT. Like most car lovers, I am somewhat obsessed with keeping my car clean. Having the extra added value of keeping it cool when it's a 100° outside, or keeping it safe from evil birds, and falling tree debris is an added plus. I've had it for about about 5 mos now, and it's holding up fine. It covers my car completely, and stays on without straps so far in up to 40 mph winds. Only reason it gets 4/5 stars is because I do wish it had slots for my side view mirrors to make the fit a bit tighter. It's lightweight and easy to use. I will report back on how it fairs with staps in more extreme weather, (hurricanes). For now, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to clean/protect it as the birds have been abusing it. Better it than my car!!!

Quality commensurate with price of item.It comes with three fastening clip-on straps for the front, middle, and rear of vehicle. Also has non-scratching plastic grommets for a car cover lock.You will also receive a carrying bag and a small repair patch.Can't comment on durability, water resistance, or weatherproof-ness yet. Will update as necessary.I had to fold in the mirrors so the cover fits better on a 2023 Subaru Impreza 4-door sedan.

I ordered this car cover many months ago. It is thinner than it says. I was tired of looking for a car cover so I thought I might keep it. Then I decided to return it but the return time had passed.Last night we had a storm and I put it on my car for the first time. I ordered the size for my car but it is too small. It doesn't go all the way down on the sides but fits snug front to back. I figured it would be better than nothing. It came with 3 straps to secure it to the car. Only 1 strap fit. When I came outside this morning I found the cover on the ground.I figured considering all these things perhaps Amazon would help. I've had help with them fixing situations with defective items in the past. Not with this one though. They just said it has been over 30 days and they couldn't do anything. So, if you decide to order this try it on your car asap.*UPDATE* This was a 1 star review originally. The company saw my review and offered to send me a more custom fit cover for my car for free if I was willing to try it. They also said it was newer since my order had been a while so they were confident it would hold up.I received the new car cover and it definitely fit better than the one I received originally. It even had spots for my mirrors. All the straps reached from one side of the car to the other so I could secure the cover to my car. I can't say whether it will hold up or not since it's only been on my car for a week. It definitely fits better though. I would give it 5 stars but I don't think a customer should have to go through all this trouble. The one I ordered originally was for my car so it should have fit to begin with.*UPDATE* The seller has reached out to me. They said my review has significantly affected their sales in a negative way. I don't see how. I'm happy with the new cover and update with new pictures. Currently there are 9% 1 star ratings. I took mine from a 1 star to a 4 star. They said I agreed to remove my review entirely if they sent me a replacement or refund and they would like to remove my review. How does that help customers like myself? I never would have agreed to that. I didn't even notice that part in the email because it was very deceptive how they wrote it.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my GT500 given my fear of water, humidity and sun damage to my paint, I researched heavily into a car cover that I could rely on. From the beginning, I could feel it was well made and good quality with soft inner lining to protect my paint and the material is very thick. The seams have waterproof lining which I love, this makes it water resistant and prevents leakage through the seams which are issues I had with other cheap covers. My sprinklers are usually my main issue as I have hard water in my area but also the sun and am convinced with the UV and sun protection features. We don’t have much wind here but the wind straps are easy to use and secure the cover pretty well. Its easy to put on and the elastic hems at the front and rear make it fit like a glove. One thing I was worried about was the fitment and it fits perfectly. Its been almost a year and its forsure heavy duty. The door zipper is a smart addition just in case I forget something inside also the lifetime warranty and extra storage bag it came with. Very pleased and highly recommend this car cover! Don’t waste your money on other car covers.

When I went out of town I left the T-tops off my car and only had this cover protecting it. I didn't even use the black straps to secure the cover. At this time, my area was hit with the largest torrential rainstorm it has ever seen. The basements in many homes in were flooded. I was fully prepared to come home to the cover ripped off my car, and the vehicle ruined full of water. I was greatly surprised to find that not only was the cover still secure, but not a drop of moisture or debris from the storm got inside. Amazing product!

Beware, this miata sized cover, does not fit Honda S2000, well. Slightly too small. You need to get one size up, 164in+ length. Use the one made for a 370z or similar.Below is my review with the correct sized cover:Have used the cover for a few weeks now, in the middle of Central California Summer; 100+ degree. Has held up so far but will see how it handles the next few months. Saw a review that it didn’t last after 4 months so will have to wait and see. So far, so good.Came in good package, easy to unroll, east to put on car, straps were easy to use and tightened, quality of material feels decent for the price. Will see how it lasts.Must wash and completely dry car before putting cover on. This will minimize scratching on paint.

I don’t wish to impair this product brand so I will say this, my fault for not having the middle tether of three attached under the chassis. A storm last night ripped the other tethers off the fabric. I feel like had the middle tether been attached its support would have saved it.Otherwise a good value product.

I am using this cover for my Nissan Sentra parked outside for preventing excessive heat and singling in Texas during the day. Overall, the quality of this cover is good. With strong sunlight, the cover shows completely opaque, so I am convinced with the UV protection. The interior is still hot, but much better than without the cover. I noticed a small hole on the cover after using it for a month, but I would keep using it anyway. 4 stars.

This car cover really helps to protect my Mustang convertible from the extreme heat in Las Vegas, NV. The only problem I have with the cover is that the wind blows it off all the time, which has nothing to do with the cover itself, but rather the constant 24/7 wind in Las Vegas, NV. The clips that hold the cover in place work well enough in calm conditions.

Had issues the first time I ordered one of these. Expressed my concerns, and was sent a MUCH improved replacement! The stitching is stronger where it needed to be, and the fit is not as snug as the first one, so it’s easier to put on, but, still fits like it was custom made for my car (Dodge Magnum). The side length is a little longer, so, it covers my wheels completely, with just a little bit of the tire showing. Keeps prying eyes from seeing what I’ve got on a drive by. I am REALLY happy with this product now, and will definitely be ordering more. Too many cars, not enough garage space…

Update: Customer Service from this company reached out to me to rectify the issue with the straps. They sent me a new cover with straps that feel and are very sturdy. Moving this to a 5 star review given that first rate service and for a quality product.I previously purchased this cover 9 months ago and this latest one was a replacement due to tearing (my fault). The cover itself is great given it is an 18 layer car cover meant for outdoor/indoor use. Fit my 99 Mercedes C280 quite well, not too snug, but not too loose either. The exterior seems to do well in rain and protects against other environmental fallout in my area of Los Angeles. I park my vehicle under a very popular tree for squirrels and birds. They leave quite the mess under the tree and this cover mitigates all of that really well. Once every 3-4 months I hose the cover off and it looks perfect again. The waterproof capability is there within reason. If you live in a very wet or damp climate the cover will eventually allow water in, and even if you go through a very heavy rain you might find moisture underneath.The straps are what lose 2 stars off 5 for me. The buckles fit perfectly, but the webbing material is completely useless. There is no way to tighten the straps so that they don't loosen again due to say wind or a light breeze. The webbing is far too thin for the buckles provided and just slip through. The straps are meant to cinch down the cover so that it doesn't flap around in a breeze under a certain limit. When I first used this cover I did not tighten the straps and the cover became super loose and scuffed the car's paint slightly, but thankfully a light polish and wax fixed that. I used my original cover's straps and they secured this new cover really well.
