All the angst, mystery, and feels you desire!!
OMG! I FLOVED this book!! I already knew I loved Betti's writing from her other pen names, and this new direction was just as good!! I loved the angst, mystery, and heat. Ah, the drama of youth. Loved it!! Crispin and Tinsley are FIRE! I wasn't sure about the idea of 'bully' romance, but it filled my love for the whole 'frenemies to lovers' trope. Tinsley starts the book as a broken teen star and ends the book built back up to someone confident in herself. Crispin is that hot, popular guy you both want to kiss and slap. They met on her show and then some drama went down and Tinsley became persona non grata. We meet a whole cast of characters at the private school they all attend. It reminds me of the feel you get from 80s teen movies. That rich kids run the school and do what they want. Parents aren't all together there or are too there. Or maybe shows like Pretty Little Liars. Especially since there is an underlying mystery that will carry over into the other books I assume. I can't wait to read more about these Lords of Wildwood! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Loved it!
This book was so good! I loved everything about it. The characters were perfect. They had so much chemistry. And the storyline sucked me in and I felt like I was in the middle of their world. The tension and suspense of wondering what would happen next killed me. Crispin turned out to be an amazing book boyfriend. And I loved how Tinsley finally found her strength after everything she went through. There were times I wanted to throw my phone. I got so mad at certain characters and what they did. And then I would get all gooey and dreamy eyed at the actions of others. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

3 ½ stars. It was alright, not my fave.
Characters = 3.5/5Plot = 3.5/5Romance = 3/5Mystery = 2/5Action = 1/5Darkness = 1/5Humor = 1/5Stars = 3.5 ☆ ☆ ☆•Mixed reviews for me with this one. I gave it a try and it wasn't bad it's just cringing on how the high school mind is. However, the plot was decent and not typical for a bully romance. Some of the writing was a bit juvenile and drove me crazy but I guess that's what you get when you get in the mind of kids.•Lots of drama, immaturity, secrets, lies and some sweetness fill the plot.•I really liked Crispin in the very beginning until he was told by Estelle (the true bully) that girls like boys that tease. After that I hated him for most of the book. He was hot & cold throughout. Tinsley is very nice and extremely naive. That pretty much sums up her. For kids who are in the movie industry and going to a high paying private school they certainly are immature.•Estelle was also something else. The puppet master. She was manipulative, mean, and I could not stand her. She is 100% all drama.•Wonder how the next book in this series will go?

Conflicted by my feelings of this book
I loved this book, which surprised the he!!out of me. I REALLY disliked Tinsley. Throughout the entire book she irritated me. I guess my love for Crispin overshadowed my dislike in her. There are a lot of substories going on, and some loose ends I wish were included in this story (his mom, their parents, Finn, etc). I am going to assume we are getting answers in the rest of the books, except for the ones directly related to this couple. I will say I am NOT looking forward to reading about Estella. Slap my ass and call me a hypocrite because as much as I love a flawed, tragic hero, I can't stand to read about mean girls. (Totally jacked up, I know.) I didn't really consider this a "bully romance." More of an " enemies to lovers. " All said I still recommend this book and would read it again/look forward to the series. I don't want to read about Estella, but I know I will. I just wish Tinsley would have grown and matured. Girl is legit TSTL and naive.

Wow... what a loss of time and money
I cannot even express my disappointment in this book properly 🤦🏻♀️ I feel like somebody (the author of the book) robbed me my time and brain cells. The book is so full of BS, that it is not even funny. The overall scene, dialogues, conversations... everything is soo boring and impossible that I just cannot feel anything else towards it except disdain. Tinsley and her loverboy were not only stu*** teens, but needy and without a backbone at all. Tinsley had no backbone or character!! Especially with socalled “best friend” Estella. Just do not recommend it at all!

May contain minor spoilers
I really enjoyed the story, it's just the ending that threw me off. After Crispin and Tinsley finally seem like they are headed in the right direction, I expected some kind of last minute plot twist. And in a way, I got it. The last chapter, the story skips 8 years into the future, leaving me with many curiosities. What happened to Pandora? How did Crispins mother and sister react to his new relationship? What happened to Nilou? Who is Guest?I thought at least a few of these would be answered before we moved on to the next couple. However, I know it's a 4 part series, so maybe the author has something planned to resolve all these issues. Despite this, the story's resolution just comes across as a little incomplete to me.

Hmmm....
Not sure how to even begin with this book. I had a lot of mixed feelings while reading this. The storyline wasn't bad and had great potential but parts just didn't add up for me. The FMC was nicknamed Crybaby and for a very good reason. She lives up to that name very well and man I was hoping she would get over herself pity and stand up for herself but no such luck. Every time I thought she would she just resorted back to the whinny crying mess that she was. Yes she was dealt a crappy hand but c'mon! As for Crispin, I despise d him in the beginning. Yes he had some redeeming qualities towards the end but I feel he never truly got what he deserved. To me this book just didn't quite hot the spot but at the same time I wanted to see what would happen as well. It's not that it was a bad book but because it wasn't which is why I'm having some torn thoughts about this. Something was just off and was missing. It was almost like the author wanted to go one route but then changed her mind and went another without making everything add up. That being said read this and see if you have the same thoughts as me. Some parts made sense while others did not.

Epic
Fall head over heals for Tinsley and Crispin.I spent most of this book not liking Crispin very much. To think because one girl told him that being mean to your crush would make her like you?! This is definitely an angst filled young adult romance and it also has a bit of a mystery that I think we will have to wait till the end of the series to find out the truth. But I seriously can’t wait to find out!

Could not put it down.
Yes! Finally one of my most anticipated reads is here! And for me, this author did not disappoint me at all! This is the debut novel for this author and I could not put it down! I was up until 3am finishing this beauty, I just could not get enough of it.Crispin is such a sweetheart! Yes, ok... he is the bully but we catch glimpses of his beautiful heart and I fell...Hook...line...and sinker! And I know he blew a little hot and cold at times, but that’s part of the teenage hormones, part of what he thought he needed to fit into. I just love him!Now I saw a lot of myself in Tinsley. And I really don’t want to say too much about her because I don’t want to give her story away, but she is just a beautiful girl. She made my heart hurt for her.I will say I did not have great feelings for E but I think she will redeem herself. I loved Andie and Finn as well. I will admit, I did tear up a couple of times while reading this book. I just really felt the words in my heart. This author’s writing sucked me in and I was a just enthralled. I was so sad to see it end, but that means we are one step closer to the next book Boys That Read, and I will wait for this book with baited breath!

Enjoyable but not great.
I’d been waiting for this book for awhile after seeing a teaser on instagram. I enjoyed the story but from the build up I was expecting more. I did like the dynamics of the relationship between Crispin & Tinsley. Lots of angst and heartbreak. I and I liked that Crispin wasn’t just one-sided, there was many layers to him. And Tinsley is smart, sweet and strong. She withstands everything and keeps on getting back up. But it still for me felt kinda flat.I’m looking forward to the next book.

3.75stars for the epilogue.
I'm thinking and thinking at what my gut is telling me about rate this book. But first, before I do my reason for it will be the characters Tinsley, Crispin, Estella, Andie and Baby *eye roll* and the LoW where were they. Secondly the bullying then I don't know, Tinsley became innocently naive to the point where she was blinded by her own stupidity that I felt sad for her, and I hated her friendship with Estella and how dumb was Crispin, smh but then everything just jumped from one reason to another that I got confused the more I read aaand the secret like what was it and where the heck was Pandora. I just felt like it was going one way and then the next.Although I kind of think the epilogue won me over, I'm still confused as ever about where was so and so.
