Great pen! Love the color, the weight and it writes great!

I love these alloy pens! Energel is my favorite gel pen to write with. I'm pretty picky about how my pens feel when I write and Energel is very smooth. The alloy pens are the perfect pen. Just the right weight, not too heavy, and not too thin. Whenever someone uses my pen at my desk they all wish they could keep it. They also engrave well. I've had some engraved and given them as gifts and the recipients love them. I also like that refills don't cost a fortune.

I was introduced to these pens by a coworker. I really love a good pen and had been having a hard time finding one that had everything I loved- I was enjoying the Sharpie pens for a while but nearly every one I purchased would start skipping and there are few things as annoying as a pen that skips. The first Pentel Energel pen I was given by a friend had a plastic barrel- when that same friend told me they sold metal barrels in all different colors I was ecstatic. The ink refills are very inexpensive (and can be purchased in a multitude of colors- you can even match the ink color to the barrel color if you so choose) and each refill lasts quite a while (how long obviously depends on use). The ink doesn’t skip or bleed and it has a perfect weight and feel in your hand. I also use highlighters quite a bit and most gel pens smear once a highlighter is drawn over the ink- with these pens I just wait a few seconds and then lightly brush my highlighter over the ink and there is no smear. The barrel itself is well-crafted with a beautiful finish. I know that after a very, very long time of use the finish becomes dull and scratches become visible but these barrels are affordable enough to replace them down the road when they begin showing wear. I may never go back to other pens after having used the needle tip Pentel pens. I adore them and absolutely recommend them to any pen enthusiast that wants a beautiful pen without the hefty price tag.

Top tier! I love pens and was recently introduced to the Sharpie pen and the Pentel pen. I am choosing Pentel. I love the comfort of writing with them. I am currently in school and write a lot of notes. Having these pens is so helpful. I love that they have colorful ink as well. Made for hours of writing

Unlike some reviews the pen came in tact and I appreciate the color. The ink is fast drying and smooth. I was expecting a case because the images show a case. I purchased for a gift and I would have selected another product if I had known there was no case. It

I was looking for a pen that would write smoothly and improve my penmanship. No extra ink and not scratching. This one is better than my Cross pen, which is also lovely. Highly recommended.

This pen was unreliable, wrote inconsistently until it finally stopped writing altogether, and then broke easily and permanently stained my favorite go-to jeans. Terrible pen. Terrible purchase.

What a lovely pen and it writes really well, does not smudge and as yet has not bled through the pages. Still early days but it will fit into the slot in my journal and look really good. I have a lot of Pentel pens. And, I do mean a lot! (I might have a problem! Lol.) When the rose gold pen became available, of course I had to add it to my collection. I enjoy the weight of these metal alloy pens. The gel ink is quick-drying and smooth. The ink refills are available in different sized nibs and an entire rainbow of colours. I enjoy these pens so much that I have also gifted them. Just be sure to get it back, if someone borrows it from you!
