Halo Headband Sweatband Slim, 1" Pullover Hairband, Holds Hair in Place and Channels Sweat from Your Face

I was looking for a headband that was not too wide or made me look like an 80's Aerobics class instructor. This looks nice and does the job of keeping my fine air off my forehead and lifts my hair in the back so it isn't stuck to my neck. The price I felt was a bit high, but it seems like it is quality. Slip resistance with the inside band. Hoping it goes on sale and I will buy another one.

Not sure why warmth is listed for rating, that is not the purpose of this headband. That said, this headband does excellent work at what it is intended, keeping sweat out of my eyes. The silicone band encourages the sweat to go to the sides. I recently did a Century Ride (100 miles) on my bike and it held up the whole way, turning white with salt crystals, but never dripping in my eyes. I live in the Phoenix area, so heat and sweat are unavoidable when exercising outdoors. I like that it is thin, since it fits nicely between my helmet and eyebrows.

Keeps most of the sweat out of the eyes. It's definitely a big improvement over not using the band at all but on a big hill climb cycling in 90+ heat and humidity, the sweat was able to overpower the band and got into the eyes. Overall, much better but not perfect. Used it again this evening and had zero eyeball sweat burn episodes over a quick 26 mile ride! The glasses do stay cleaner as well since sweat isn't dripping onto the lenses so that is an added plus.

I'm impressed with how well this headband actually works. I'm normally not a fan of wearing headbands when cycling, but this one is thin enough to tuck up under my helmet and be mostly out of sight. It's not super thick so the helmet can be adjusted when I use it and I don't really notice it's there. The gutter works extremely well in the heat at keeping the sweat off of my sunglasses and, somehow, my head even seems cooler when I use it. It did feel a little constricting at first, but it loosened after a brief break in period.

Revised Dec. 27, 2016 Had to lower the review one star because the yellow sweat deflector started peeling off this one even though it has been used and washed much less than regular width ones that I have been using longer. Hopefully, it was just part of a bad batch and this is not a problem with newer ones. Original review A little tighter than the standard Halo bands, it leaves a mark but is not uncomfortable and is just as effective at keeping sweat out of the eyes as the standard wide model, which I have been using for a few years. I expect that the reduced fabric makes it slightly cooler to wear though I will have to be wary of upper forehead sunburn. Maybe it will stretch out after more use, but the original model never left a mark. Slim and stylish, I wish they made other colors of this model available so I could wear two or even three at once…

I didn't know what to expect. I ride a lot for an old man and the less I have to bother with, the better. Sweat kept stinging my eyes and that is something I don't want to deal with. I read the reviews and thought, what the heck. I really couldn't notice a difference in my sweating, it's just that my eyes never seemed to be getting any stinging sweat in them. I couldn't believe this thing was working because my forehead was still sweaty. But... low and behold. NO STINGING! It absolutely works! LOVE IT! In almost three years I haven't had a single drop of sweat hit my eyes and I go out running or riding in even the hottest days.

The best headband ever!!! I have bought over 4 of them. As a healthcare worker who works 12 hour shifts, they hold up and provide great sweat protection. I highly recommend the product. I will be purchasing them again.

I ride both road bikes and mountain bikes and I sweat heavily. Before this sweatband, I would have to wring my helmet out every time I stopped. This thing makes a huge difference keeping the sweat out of my eyes. I had stopped wearing Eyewear during rides because the sweat would drip into the lenses and make it hard to see. Now I can race hard with Eyewear and they stay dry and clean. Positioning the strap under the helmet is key. If you wear it too high on your forehead, sweat will still accumulate and drip down from your helmet pads. Wearing this lower on your forehead will channel the sweat from your helmet pads instead of letting it drip. Worth the money!

En este caso seleccioné una medida quizás muy estrecha así que se ve más como una ballerina, sin embargo me funciona perfecto, vivo en playa así que esto es una maravilla para no estar con los ojos llenos de sudor. Es suficientemente apretada para no desplazarse pero no tanto para no provocar una jaqueca. Apenas lo he usado dos veces y aún no lo uso para ciclismo pero promete ser un producto de calidad y duradero. Y veremos.

I have many of these Halo Headbands and bought this one for a friend who works outside all day. He loves it and has ordered many more for himself as it is so effective. The silicone band diverts the sweat so it does not go into your eyes. They fit under a hat or hardhat easily. They are well worth the price, last forever and I highly recommend these for outdoor workers, exercise or anything else that makes you sweat.

I have two different sweatbands, both are slim and fit under my cycling helmets. But this one is the best. The band has a high absorbency (holds a lot of sweat). Once it is full the yellow strip is what makes this one so good, as it directs sweat away from the eyes. On a training ride with a 20 minute hill climb, usually my glasses are so covered in sweat I have to take them off to see, with this sweatband I did three repeats and could still see through my glasses. This band works very well.
