Great product!
This product is GREAT! It charges my phone, connects to Bluetooth with no problem and plays music from my phone and sounds great. I love that my phone stands up and is easily visible when a call comes in for me to see who it is. Its easy to answer as well. Not too big and is just the right size. Great for the price!

Very pleased!
Very pleased with my purchase. Did not want to spend much on a clock radio but wanted certain features as well. I have a Samsung Mega and it fits nicely on the cradle; however, it does not fit with the protective cover on which is the case with most accessories. The only potential issue is the volume of the alarm. It is very low but progresses the longer it goes. It takes me about 2 minutes to hear it. If one is a very heavy sleeper, I do not know how long it would take them to hear it. The volume to the alarm cannot be adjusted. Thankfully, I am a light sleeper.

A fail on bluetooth and FM reception
Sound: The sound quality is not great. When you increase to #15 (maximum), the sound is not clear any more.FM: The FM reception is terrible. It is very old school, with a thin FM reception wire. It does not pick up some popular local stations at all.Charger: It is good as a phone charger near my bed. I don't have a hanging wire besides my bed. Keeps my phone charger in one place and organized.Clock: The time is displayed clearly and does not disturb in sleep, as it is not very bright like some digital clocks.Bluetooth: Did not work for me on all devices. When I first got this speaker, I started bluetooth to pair my devices. The pairing occurred successfully. Then later when I tried to connect my devices (iPhone and iPad) on another day, they failed to connect repeatedly. Possibly the bluetooth was turned off, so I pressed the bluetooth button for 3+ seconds as recommended, but no success. In conclusion: Maybe I received a bad product. The bluetooth function was faulty. I bought this speaker mainly for listening to the radio and it failed me, since it did not pick up stations clearly. The sound quality was the last straw. I ended up returning the device.

It functions okay
This does what it's supposed to do. If your device's charging jack is close to the middle of what ever side it's on, it works pretty well, if you don't have a modern smartphone that requires a higher wattage charger. If your idea is to put your phone in the cradle while you sleep that will probably work fine. The spring on the USB plug is a little too strong, and requires some attention when plugging in your device. I feel as though I could muck up my phone's charging jack if not careful.I understand that it's a tough task to design an appliance like this that would be truly universal - the electronic world is quite varied in function and form! The other features work as advertised. If the spring on the charging plug was just a little weaker, I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.

Nice little clock with bluetooth at reasonable price
This is a nice looking alarm clock radio with a docking capability for the smart phone plus bluetooth to boot. It only has a modest 2W output on the speaker, so some people may think it is not loud enough. Unless they have hearing loss, I don't understand why it would not wake you up in the morning unless your old clock buzzer were 100dB loud? It is easy to set the time and the radio channel for the wake up call. I also like the 10 preset radio stations so I can change the radio station instantly unlike my old clock radio. It comes with several docking templates to hold either an Android phone or iPhone on the dock. It only comes with the micro USB cable for Android, not the Apple cable, which is understandable. The docking feature will work if your smart phones have a slim case, not the ugly Otterbox. If you have a tablet, I don't think the dock connection will hold its weight. It pairs to both my iPhone and Android phones via Bluetooth without any issues. When in Bluetooth mode, it is actually good enough to take the phone call on it and the speaker is a lot louder than the phone. For music play back, it is similar to any other clock radio, don't expect a lot of bass out of the speaker! I don't understand why many also complained about the unit does not have Apple cable. Really? Do you know of any product out there that comes with the Apple cables aside from Apple? If Philips were to include the lightning cable, it would have been $50!

This dock is just about perfect for Android phones
My wife researched and researched to find a dock she would like for her Moto X (2013). She chose this one and I was skeptical since it listed it as having a "Cable Management" system and not a connector. As it turns out, it DOES have a connector, but only for Micro USB. If you're using an iphone, there is a piece that fits in there and allows you to use your own wire. I like the alarms. She has one that gently wakes you up with radio that gradually gets louder, then she has the typical annoying beep sound that gets her to work on time. In addition to that, she can still use her alarms on her phone and they'll play through the speakers.

Disappointed.
I was very excited to order this product. I liked the idea of getting the speakers off my nightstand and just blue toothing in for my music from my tablet or my phone. My old alarm clock was cracked, and I had to jiggle the button for the alarm to come on.The current device blue tooths easily enough, but the sound cuts out every once in awhile (like twice per song). I am not complaining about the sound quality per se, I knew it had only one speaker, and wasn't expecting surround sound, just some noise while I went to sleep. And the buzzer on the alarm may as well be a whisper. It is supposed to increase incrementally if not turned off, so I left it on for an hour to see what happened. I couldn't hear it from the room right beside my bedroom. The "docking" station doesn't work if your phone is in a case, so I just strung my old cable for charging my phone and plugged it into the clock. It is nice to eliminate that extra plug by my bedside. All in all, probably not my choice, and I will go get another alarm clock.

Bang for your buck
I’ve had this radio for years now and it still works great! I love that you can change your phone on it as we’ll it has AM/FM features and also has Bluetooth.
