I recently stumbled upon the TIEM Slipstream Indoor Cycling Shoes, and I must say, they have completely transformed my indoor cycling experience. As someone who has tried numerous types of cycling shoes in the past, the convenience and versatility offered by these shoes are simply unparalleled.First and foremost, one of the standout features of the TIEM Slipstream shoes is their unique design, which seamlessly combines the style of a casual sneaker with the functionality of cycling shoes. This means that I no longer have to worry about changing shoes when transitioning from my car to the studio. The ability to wear them from the car straight into the studio is a game-changer, saving me time and hassle. The fact that the Slipstream shoes are SPD compatible is another huge advantage. With these shoes, I can effortlessly clip into my bike pedals, ensuring a secure and efficient cycling experience. It's wonderful to have that extra level of connection and control between my feet and the bike, enhancing my overall performance and power output. What I appreciate most about the TIEM Slipstream shoes is their commitment to providing a comfortable fit. The shoes are designed specifically for women, taking into account the unique shape of our feet. The soft, breathable materials used in their construction make for a snug yet flexible fit, allowing me to pedal with ease for extended periods without discomfort or hot spots. While the clips for the shoes are sold separately, it's worth mentioning that this feature adds to the versatility of the Slipstream shoes. With the ability to customize the type of clip, I can easily adapt them to suit my preferred style of riding or swap them out if needed.Overall, I cannot recommend the TIEM Slipstream Indoor Cycling Shoes enough. They offer a perfect balance of style, convenience, and functionality. Very comfy and well worth it!
Based on other reviews, I got these with no real expectations but I have been VERY pleasantly surprised!I bought these to wear in my spin class. I live two blocks from my studio so a shoe I could walk back and forth in was a plus for me.Fit: I wear an 8.5 or 9 in street shoes, and I wear an 9.5 in Brooks and Asics running shoes. I had been wearing size 41 Shimano road cycling shoes rented from my studio. I had orginally purchased a pair of LG road shoes in 41 and they were way too tiny and narrow.Based on reviews I read, I bought a 9.5 in the TIEMs. They do seem to run a TINY bit narrow, but not uncomfortably so. They feel secure in class. I have just enough room in the toe.Performance: I had read a couple of reviews stating that people felt the TIEMs were not stiff enough under the foot when clipped in, but I did not have that experience. They do feel very much like a cycling shoe, and have a stiff hard plastic under the center of the foot, so riding out of the saddle is just fine. They have more cushioning than other cycling shoes, which I really liked. I was comfortable the entire class, more comfortable than I am normally in the Shimanos.I do feel the cleats on the ground when waking on asphalt and cement, however walking around my home with hardwood floors was fine. Cleat installation was SUPER easy. I keep seeing people say they took them to a bike shop to do it but honestly it's just a matter of screwing them into the shoe.Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase, I'll cover the cost of shoe rental in about two months, so they are well worth it, especially given the increased comfort, not having to change shoes at the studio, and that they are just cute.

Highly Recommend!
My favorite amazon purchase thus far! A coworker had told me about these shoes and I started looking into them on their brand website. I had mixed feelings on what size to purchase, but when I found them on Amazon, I threw them into my cart ASAP! Normally I am a size 7 in shoes (casual shoes to athletics too). I had read several reviews suggesting to order a size down, but I stuck to my 7 and they fit like a glove! They’re probably the most comfortable cycling shoe out there, due to their casual design. Regular cycling shoes are stiff and almost a hard plastic material with no breathing room. The Velcro “shoe lace” is perfect. One stretch and the shoes are secured. The soles inside are not flat, so you still feel arch support in them. I purchased the SPD clips as well. Super easy to install. Again, my favorite cycling shoes out there; chic, stylish, and absolutely comfortable.I know Tiem promotes their shoes as very versatile, as in you can cycle with them and then do another workout. I personally do not feel comfortable using them for any other workout than cycling. You can’t really feel the clips if you want in them, but anything other than a flat paved surface will cause the clips to click or feel them on the ball of your foot. I bought them with the intention of only using them for cycling. I use them on the Schwinn iC3; super easy to clip in and out just takes getting used to!

Perfect indoor cycling shoe
I learned about these by noticing the shoes worn by several women and the instructor at a cycling class at the gym. Amazon next day delivery and I had mine for the class 2 days later.Pros:- the solid shoe plate on the bottom gives you efficient transfer of energy from your foot to the pedal. It is recessed so you can walk in the shoes more normally.- the upper is stretchy so it conforms to your foot (very helpful for those with bunions.) But it is stiffer than Skechers so it holds that solid bottom plate tightly to your foot for efficient transfer of energy. It has a velcro cross strap to hold it tight after you put it on.- clipping in to a bike gives more efficient transfer of energy to the bike. But it also allows you to develop a better "circular pedaling" stroke where you push down during the full rotational cycle of each stroke. This is more efficient and spreads the effort out across more muscles.Tips:- follow the recommendation to purchase a half size less than your athletic shoe size, that worked perfectly for me.- mine are a little hard to pull on but comfortable once on. Use the pull tab on the heel when putting them on.- you need to purchase a cleat as well and attach it to the bottom. I just got the one amazon recommended as "often purchased together" and it worked on the gym bikes, but best to research before buying. Mine was less than $12 so cheap to replace.- you need a 4mm allen wrench to attach the cleat, order one if you don't already have one- alignment and positioning of the cleats is important, look for directions/videosCons: none the I have seen.

Great style, comfort - soles eventually detached
I love that these literally match everything & easy to slip on. I’ve had these for 4 years (wearing only 3-4 times a month) and the soles started to detach & crumble! . I tried to use a quality shoe glue to reinforce, but didn’t help at all. So did they last as long as they should have given my usage?

Good Toe Box for wide feet
I've been wearing these shoes 3 times a week for the past 4 weeks and they are alot better than the usual cycle shoes. Probably due to the fact they are like normal gym shoes and don't tighten at the toe box. The recommendation was to go half a size smaller, which I did and the shoe fits, but it also means I have to wear socks that aren't thick else I can't get my foot in the shoe, as it is I am wearing thin socks and need a shoe horn to get my foot into the shoe. So if you like wearing thick socks don't go the half size down.
