Q: Will it fit in a bmw e36 328i trunk?

No. I sent it back for the trunk. Had to buy from BMW dealership for trunk

X5 yes of course The size of the emblem is the same unless it's a hatch back or a trunk lid . That emblem would be smaller as well as the grommet holes but for the most part hood and emblems are the same .

The badger arrived unharmed. It looked terrific. It looked better than the original badge on the rear of the C4. The product fit perfectly, and was easy to install. I would highly recommend anybody who needs to replace their existing BMW Z4 trunk badge.

Feels like Original equipment, so pricy but worth it. Came well packaged, no scratches. 2 rubber grommets came along with it. I bought this to replace worn out emblem on the trunk of ‘98 e38 - fit like a glove.
