Unlike plexiglass, this stuff is easy to cut, saw and drill. It was perfect for my application, but I though that it was a little pricey.

This sheet of Lexan (or polycarbonate, mine was Lexan branded) is exactly what I needed. I actually used this for a table top for a custom display table and it is gorgeous. It's incredibly sturdy, my one year old has smashed just about everything he can against this thing just to see what sound it makes, and it has taken it. Minimal scratches so far, but it's really recieved a beating so that's no surprise. The piece was perfectly square and to the exact ordered dimension. I'll definitely be ordering another when I need to make a second table.

I received polycarbonate sheet and cut it to fit and it works well. This is exactly what I wanted.

On the picture the seller has Makrolon product, but what I received is different.It says: Global Polycarbonate solid sheets European Standard for signs and industries.I was unable to determine if this product is UV resistant or not, as the seller refuses to answer this question.
