RiverRidge3 shelves Horizontal Bookcase, White

This was perfect for my daughter's room. We were redecorating and our set up with her books was just too small. This bookcase is great because it is a lower, horizontal style shelf, which I think is safer and easier for younger kids to use. She can arrange all her own books and then put all her little trinkets and things on top. It works well for a small sized room and has some nice detailing on the sides. The shelf space is deep enough to accommodate even really big books.

I love it for my toddlers room. Perfect height for her and the details on the side are very nice and not so bland as some others for this price. My husband put it together and accidentally put the back board on backwards so the yellow sticker is visible from the front but oh well, eventually one of us will turn it around. It’s very sturdy too. Overall, we’re very happy with this shelf. There was no damage during delivery like some of the other furniture I’ve ordered online which was a very pleasant surprise.

I give it 4 stars since it does what it says. The advertising is on point and it doesn't claim to be anything it isn't. It is a child's bookshelf. It is pressboard with a flimsy panel backing. Nothing special. It holds the books we put on it and doesn't bow or anything. As long as you put normal children's books on it, it should last a long time. If you try to put the Encyclopedia Britannica on it, it will most likely cave in. It did have a funky "chemical" smell out of the box, but that went away after a few days.

I purchased two of these book cases and was hesitant because other reviews said there was a strong odor and they weren't as sturdy as they expected. SO WRONG! These were bought for my classroom at school and I am 100% thrilled with these! No odor at all, high quality finish, very sturdy, and look amazing! I will be buying these for my home office very soon! Don't hesitate on these! EXCELLENT PRODUCT and EASY to ASSEMBLE!

The bookcase is just what I had been searching for, for some time. The two cases fit perfectly under my window.The middle shelf is not very sturdy, but it doesn't need to be. The two white shelves finish off the room with books and artifacts. I had almost given up hope of finding the right size. Thank you.

Would have been higher, but the shelf had a weird smell that has not gone away after several days. Looks nice. Easy to put together. Fairly stable, good for price. Would be great if not for the smell.

Easy to follow assembly directions, both in words and pictures. All the required dowels, screws, etc. came in separate tiny zip lock bags, numbered to match the instructions. The finish was perfect on all pieces and it looks nice assembled. My only complaint was that it was hard to assemble without help. I found myself bracing one side against a wall so it wouldn't fall over while I was trying to attach the shelf. All in all, a good purchase and it does the job I bought it for. Surprise one-day delivery, too.

The item itself looks good and is solid. easy to put together, so no complaints there. The issue - ESPECIALLY for a “kids bookcase” is the chemical smell of this product. It’s noxious and extremely strong. After assembly we had to move it to the garage and air out the nursery. 12 hours later a faint smell remains (book case is still in garage). This is absurd for ANY product, much less a kids item. If the case itself does not dissipate the smell in the next 12-24 hours we will return (or burn!). No way is this odor normal or safe. Recommend a different item.

It is small but functional for the space that I have available.

Very pleased with assembly instructions and quality of the bookcase. Instructions have words, not just pictures. I am using it as a bookshelf and recycle center (with the River Ridge boxes) for my kitchen. It looks great.

I unfortunately don’t have time to disassemble it because I need it but I am really not happy with the product. It looks cheap and flimsy, not what I was expecting and for the money I paid.

Pretty good quality, easy to assemble. Two shelves come scratched even packaging came untouched fortunately the scratches are on the spots you cannot see.

Looks just like the photos. Very easy to assemble!
