Really spiffy case but....
I bought my daughter the beige version of this case for her Kindle Fire she got for Christmas. The case is well put together, really slick looking and looks like it will do a fine job of protecting her Kindle. A few things of note relating to other reviews and complaints:Many of the reviews I've read indicated that the case "binding" was too stiff to allow it to stay folded back upon itself when opened to utilize the hand strap. What most folks have missed is that to do this you zip the case in the folded open position. In other words, open the case then use the zipper to join the two sides in the open position. This will allow you to properly use the hand strap. The pocket seems pretty useless and more of a stylistic item than a functional one. Others have noted that it probably would only be useful to hold a small flat item like a credit or library card. I agree 100% with that assessment. This is a non-issue though for me since the pocket didn't figure into my decision to buy it.Here's the reason I couldn't give it a five star rating. I bought a second one for my wife's Kindle Fire after she saw my daughters and really liked it. I had bought her a Marware Folio hard case and while it's nice, it seemed less protective to her. To make it easier to tell them apart we ordered her a pink one. It arrived and upon opening there was a VERY strong chemical odor from the case. Others have complained about this and I found it odd because my daughter's beige one did not have the same problem. I figured that the folks who noticed this were hypersensitive to smells but I can tell you that after opening the pink one, you don't have to be hypersensitive to smells to notice! I don't know if this is due to the dyes that were used for the pink vs. the beige or because of the packaging. The beige case came in a very minimalistic brown envelope packaging (kudos on that Marware!) but the pink one came in a more conventional paper and plastic box.It would be interesting to know if there might be a pattern to which ones exhibit the strong odor. Is it color, packaging, or just some random cause? We will keep the case for a few days to see if the odor abates and I'll update this review with the results (if I remember :-) ).**UPDATE**After giving the case some time to air out the smell is no longer very noticeable. To smell it now I have to literally hold it up to my nose. Based on that I'm bumping my rating to 5 stars from 4.I also wanted to comment on some of the complaints that it's hard to get the kindle into the case. I am not seeing any difficulties in either puttting the Kindle in the case or taking it out. Pops in in a couple of seconds and out almost as quickly. Just give the back of the case a little bend to ease taking it out. The clips are a little snug but they are supposed to be, you want your Kindle held securely!Bottom line: Nice functional case, with one possible significant downside, that seems inline pricewise with other offerings for the Kindle Fire.

Marware jurni Kindle Fire cover - Like my inventive title?
I purchased this product to house my 5 year old's Kindle Fire. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it is a surprisingly nice case. The fabric seems sturdy and water resistant (notice I didn't say waterproof - haven't tested that...) The zippers are thick and stable. The stitching is nice and hardly noticeable. I love the inside of the case since it's soft and has that great hand holder slip as demonstrated in the video. Forgive the pun, but it is very handy...I have docked one star because I find it difficult to zip it when it is open - to add stability and keep that flap from, well, flapping around - and because the zipper pull on the inside seems to be of a less sturdy material (think diving suit material) than the metal outside zippers. I know they went with the fabric pull on the inside so it wouldn't scratch anything, but it just seems really flimsy to me and I foresee it ripping off - though probably not soon. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product. It's a great bargain for the price.

A little awkward & smelly, but functional
(Purchased in pink) I hate when negative reviews turn out to be true. I, like many other reviewers, thought some might just be overly sensitive to smells... but have to agree this case smelled terrible upon opening and using the first time. I had actually intended to return the case because of the offensive odor when I decided to give it a chance to "air out". After leaving it unzipped, without the kindle in it, for a full day the smell is definitely not as bad (it was so strong before that the odor was on my kindle and my hand immediately).I have decided to keep the case, but it is still a little more awkward than I had anticipated. It is possible my hands are just too small to easily hold the cover backwards using the hand strap. All in all, though, not a bad case; the color is vibrant and it seems well-made.

Great case!
This is a wonderful case. I did a fair amount of research before buying this one. I wanted to make sure I picked one what would be thick enough to protect my Fire's screen, was the right size, zipped, and looked cute. Sure enough, this does all of the above. It even has a nice elastic band on the inside of the cover to hold notes, as well as a zippy pouch on the outside to hold cards. This is especially handy for taking it on the bus or train. My only complaint is more directed at my specific seller- when it arrived, it REEKED of moth balls.... I know that will go away soon enough, but really? Haha.UPDATE!!: I bought this in December of 2011. It's now September of 2014 and this case is STILL going strong! It's perfect! No signs of wear and tear, even after regular usage! I couldn't be happier with this case. :)

Excellent Case
This case is fantastic, and a step up from the horrible fabric case I'd ordered at first for my Kindle Fire. I love that the case reverses (although it's a little tricky to get the zippers around backwards--zipper pulls on both sides would have made more sense) and the holding strap is perfectly functioning (it's one of the main reasons I bought this case). The case seems sturdy and durable, and the clips hold the Fire in very securely.I graded it down a star because of the practically unusable zippered pouch (it's big enough for credit cards/ID or cash, but even a pair of earbuds is a definite stretch) and for the terrible, terrible smell that will hopefully fade quickly (it's so strong it even makes my hands smell like the chemicals when I put down the Kindle).

Very durable case
I bought this case for my Kindle Fire six years ago. This case is perfect for someone who has a tendency to drop things. I have dropped my Kindle multiple times even on cement. Kindle looks brand new. The full zipper protects even more. Front pocket is also a nice place to keep cleaning cloth or book lists. This has been the perfect case and I would never replace it with anything different.

No good!
I didn't get on with this case as the kindle wouldn't stay in the plastic holder so when you unzipped it the kindle fell out! So had to put it away and buy another cover. Upset as I liked this cover. It needs some design fiddling so it holds a kindle fire properly.

Does the job!
It's great to transport your Kindle, looks stylish, and I LOVE the color (you can also find it easily!). My only gripe would be the little pocket on the front. Too small to put an electrical cord. More for storing business cards. Price wise? Well... it's a bit steep, but it does what it says and it hasn't fallen apart. That's good in my book.

Marware Kindle Fire Cover
This cover is fantastic. There are little pockets to put other items in - it is lightweight and looks great. The colour lets you find your Kindle anywhere at anytime - so stylish. I would recommend this website to friends and family.
