FultonStorm Umbrella Black, One size

Despite negative reviews on here I decided to purchase it especially as it's reduced alot compared to their website. For the size when closed I was surprised how big the canopy is. It's manual open and initially thought the canopy was a little loose, but realised you have to push itvquite hard fully up to the end, initially was a little stiff and I didn't want to break it, to click it in place, then it's fine. As good as any umbrella but alot smaller closed. The prongs are plastic but it seems sturdy enough. No umbrella will withstand very strong winds and not blow inside out, so I don't know why people expect it to. You just close it and reopen it. I guess I will see how long it lasts or whether it breaks, when I test it in rain and wind so not given 5 stars yet.

Used this umbrella once in light fine rain and it was ok. Second time, rain was a little heavier with a little more wind. I bought this umbrella as it is named STORM umbrella. A slight gust of wind and it was blown inside out. No bother I thought, I'll get the umbrella to right itself, which it did. Only to discover it was out of shape. Closer inspection found that one of the plastic supports (yes plastic on a STORM umbrella) had snapped clean through. Umbrella now useless. Utter was of money and clearly not fit for purpose. As Martin Lewis would say, this is not FART

DO NOT BUY. I've had 3 of these now and they always break after a while. To say they're storm umbrellas is a lie. To keep it lightweight, there are green plastic spokes inside. Although these are reasonably tough, they're a weak point in the design and all 3 I've had snapped somewhere in that area - didn't even happen in a storm, just turned inside out once or twice. As they're plastic, it's impossible to fix them in a way that's lasting. Total junk, would never buy a Fulton umbrella again.

One of the arms broke within two weeks of having this. Less strong than a standard umbrella.

Very portable. Eazy to carry it everywhere. Looks noble. Just a little disappointment of its shaking in the middle. Hope I can use it for years.
