W**!
One of the best series I've seen in a while.
I thought this series was fantastic. Thrilling and enjoyable and I'm 35! This series wasn't about justa gang of teen witches, it's story was intermingled with their parents and other family memebers which was good because it gives the series a wider audience. Also the storyline was more substantial than just teen angst which alot of other productions like The Craft have gone for. I've since read the books, which are slightly different, and also learned that this show was cancelled after this series because CBS didn't think it woud take off. I think the back lash its had since then from fans around the world should have been enugh to prove otherwise however it seems another fantastic series has bitten the dust because producers and TV execs nowadays are so out of touch with what people really enjoy. This is sad because I really wanted to find out what the intentions were of those other kids that turned up with the same scar as Diana and Cassie had. Guess now I'll never know...

Enchanted Writing
I admit that I checked out this tv series of The Secret Circle Season One because I read online that Gale Harold is featured in this series (after I saw him in another tv series). Additionally, The Secret Circle tv series appealed to my tv watching genre preferences due to my confessed interest in the occult and with movies/tv series featuring witches. Anyhow, The Secret Circle tv series (season one) features some good music of which I’m not sure if a music soundtrack is available for the tv series (one of the songs that plays near the beginning of the Secret Circle series is Young Blood by the Naked & Famous). Anyhow, The Secret Circle follows the tale of a teenager named Cassie Blake (Britt Robertson) who reluctantly accepts that it is part of her destiny to be a witch after she meets other teenagers in her new hometown (Chance Harbor Washington) who have also lost a parent. Adam Conant (Thomas Dekker) and Diana Meade (Shelley Hennig) work the hardest to convince her to join their secret coven. The teenage coven also includes other members as well such as Melissa Glaser (Jessica Parker Kennedy), Jake Armstrong (Chris Zylka), and Faye Chamberlain (Phoebe Tonkin). Charles Meade (Gale Harold) is the father of Diana Meade and is definitely not the harmless person he initially appears to be on the outside. There are more actors/actresses of course who contribute to the TV series The Secret Circle Season One (I was just intuitively going by what I logically felt would be strong details to share).

The Secret Circle - DVD - when will this be available?
The secret circle - starring Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker etc - was a refreshingly brilliant TV show. I'm so disappointed it was dropped before a second season could be produced! Even more disappointed that this beloved show is still unavailable on dvd!!!!!Any one have any idea when this is going to become available - have waited so very long already, I'm not giving up!!!!

Surprisingly Good!
Yet another supernatural US TV series? With ridiculously attractive teenagers who must fight the forces of evil whilst trying to have a normal love life? What could this series possibly offer that we haven't seen a million times before?Quite a lot actually. Despite the shallow premise of teen witches in a small town, this is a very well-written series with mysteries and twists around every corner. The actors are young and beautiful but they are also extremely talented - Phoebe Tonkin, in particular, stood out for her portrayal of a flawed and interesting high school queen bee.The relationship drama is well-balanced with the supernatural issues and the series paints a vivid portrait of the difficulties of being a teen. The first few episodes will pique your curiosity, the next few will hook you, the rest will feed your addiction. There was so much potential here that it's sad to see the show get cancelled after only one season, but I can assure you that this doesn't reflect the quality of the show.Definitely worth watching and, in my opinion, BETTER than Vampire Diaries.

Don't miss this series!
One of my favorite series. Certainly as good as Vampire Diaries and Teen Wolf. The series is based by L.J.Smith's books but after reading the books it has very little to do with them. Sorry to say that there's not going to be season 2 but I highly recommend to watch season 1 anyway.
