Ham is one of those products that just keeps going up and up in this cost of living crisis. Bizarrely it’s now probably cheaper to buy your ham and cheese sandwich lunch on a meal deal than make your own but then you don’t know where the ham comes from and really I want my pork from ideally happy pigs and at worst British pork and not cheap European.. anyway this is lovely ham for your sandwich, baguette or ham egg and chips tea. Dry, rich and deep smoked flavour what ham should be. Yum

...but I was really disappointed with this Morrisons "The Best Dry Cured Applewood Smoked Ham".Firstly on opening the pack I would hardly call it 'Dry' because it was anything but dry and had to be placed on kitchen paper roll to dry it off. When will supermarkets stop selling items by weight and do so by including an element of 'watery content'?Secondly there were inedible veins of gristle running through each slice.On a positive note the amount I managed to salvage did indeed have an unmissable aroma and taste of Applewood.Sorry Morrisons but I would not buy this product again.Thank you for your time in reading my feedback/review – I hope it may have helped you in your own buying decision.If this feedback/review has helped in any way please be kind enough to click on 'Helpful'.
