This moong dal cooks very quickly and has a clean, fresh taste. I appreciate that it’s USDA and EU certified organic the quality really shows. One of the best parts is that it digests easily with no after‑gas, which isn’t always the case with other brands. Overall, a reliable organic staple I would definitely purchase again.

Quality of the dal , price and delivery.

I had never had this before but wanted to try it as it is so good for you. I followed instructions exactly the first time I made it and it was OK. The next time I made a fresh vegetable broth base and added celery and small potatoes with more spices and we liked it a lot more then then. White rice was recommended as it is easier to digest, but as we are not sick now I used wild rice. I Will try with brown rice or quinoa next I think. Good price for size, A little cooks up to a good size batch so start small with just a little unless you plan to freeze some.

Good quality and organic. I use this to make a homemade 'just egg' imitation. It rinses well so that makes it good for this use. I buy it regularly. It's a little pricey.

I like this brand the best. I am able to find them on occasion at an Asian store I go to, but it's not real close and the price was comparable here. I soak 3 tbsp of these with 1 1/2 tbsp of pumpkin seeds, then drain and blend with water, turmeric, black pepper, garlic and onion powder, nutritional yeast, dry mustard, baking powder, until like just a little thinner than pancake batter and cook in pan. Fill with whatever you like and sprinkle kala namak (black salt) at end and it tastes like an egg omelette, but healthier and no animals harmed. 😉

I’m not an aficionado in lentils. Organic, simple quality, packaging is nice. Good price.

I could have bought mung beans at my local grocery store, but I wanted Organic/non-Gmo/ Hulled beans, which are not available in my stores. I made vegan Korean mung bean patties ( I had eaten, while in New York). They are delicious and so easy to make. I also made a breakfast pancake with oatmeal and mung beans too., which are great toasted up with PB and jam in the morning. Great purchase. the beans were also delivered to me in just a couple days. Very happy.
