what size is this item ?

The bottle doesn't have any info on size or on how many ounces it contains. Sorry about that, but I measured it with a ruler, and the bottle is 2 1/2 inches wide, and about 5 inches tall at that width. Then there is a narrower section at the top that is 1-2 inches wide and about 2 inches tall. Those two sections put together makes up the part of the bottle that holds the liquid. I hope this helps!

Does it come with the sprayer, or is it just a bottle.? Mine did not come with a sprayer.

It's supposed to come with a sprayer. Contact Amazon customer service and also respond to the email from that company. You could receive a refund and a new bottle with a sprayer.

Does this really work?

It worked for me. I washed what I could first, but I sprayed it on furniture, clothes and bed. It doesn't stain.

How often do I spray to prevent lice?

I purchased Eco Defense spray for my daughter to use in her home when my grandson experienced a second infestation of lice in a short time. The problem being, that once treated and your child returns to school, those children who have not been treated properly will cause reinfestation. My daughter gave the classroom teacher a bottle to spray on desk surfaces, and rest mats. She sprayed my grandson's book bag inside and out - and his shoes. Taking them off at the door before entering. She continued using the spray for two weeks my grandson was nit free. So far so good.
