I was really happy with the purchase of these motorized blinds. We ended up going with the grey blackout blinds with the valence (with I highly recommend for clean, upscale looks and ease of installation). Their order page makes ordering the correct fit, customization, and features easy as long as you pay attention to input the correct measurements and know how you want them installed (e.g., inside or outside the window frame). Even if you make a mistake, the design team will contact you with their recommendations if they see something is off. We bought a total of 8 blinds, 5 of which were custom sizes, with the grey blackouts. We were concerned they wouldn't look as good as fabric shades, but when we saw them in person, the rubberized-vinyl like material looks high quality and premium. A nice benefit of these are that they will hold up to our cats damaging them, and they won't absorb odors as much. As promised, no light gets through the blinds. The package also includes a sleek, easy to operate remote. One remote can control up to 15 blinds and they are already pre-programmed for you. We ordered another 2 to keep one upstairs (which can work from the third floor), and one as a backup. As far as delivery, after 2 days we received a call from the team recommending to widen my shades by 3", and within another week, the shades arrived! After measuring and drilling our holes, we just needed to screw in the brackets, then slide the shades in which snap in easily using the valence for outside the frame mounting. Entire installation was 2 hours by myself at an easy place. After I drilled my holes, most of the work is just attaching the brackets. First thing I did was start charging the motor blinds with the included USB-C wires, and they were charged up and ready by the time I was ready to install them. One charge is good for thousands of movements. You can control the speed, which blinds to open/close, and set the stop positions. The operation is relatively quiet, which again, I think the valence helps damper the motor noise. Will definitely look to Graywind when we are ready to do the other floors. We saved at least $3,000 going through them and installing ourselves.

The blinds work beautifully when they work. I have had them for about a month. Installation was pretty simple and straightforward. I bought two blinds and the solar panels. The unit is really nice and feels well made. The dark grey color is very neutral and goes really nicely in my loft. The first problem started when solar unit didn’t charge the motor. I tried a different cable and it didn’t work. I plugged into the outlet and the blinds worked. Yesterday one of the blinds changed positions so it won’t go all the way up. I tried resetting and restarting. Nothing works to reset the blind to its original opening. Update: I was contacted by the company and somebody walked me through resetting the blind so it would go to the original fully open position. It is such a relief to have it fixed. They also sent me two new solar pads so I’m gonna sit with it and see if I can get them operational. I have a strong feeling it’s user error. The company‘s been very responsive and easy to work with. The blinds look amazing and are super high-end in my loft.

First, I have to tell you, I rarely write reviews, but Graywind and their product are worth letting you know about. The shades perform and look fantastic in our new home. We only ordered for two rooms, so we could get a feel on whether they were what we were looking for. They were exactly what we wanted, and they didn't break the bank! We are ordering more today! I made an error on one of my orders, and their customer service was stellar in resolving my issue, even though it was my mistake! Communication was amazing and they have been so nice. I ordered samples of the fabric first, and the final product is exactly what we chose from the samples. Please, look no further if you want a great product, elegant look and assurance you're dealing with a stand-up company.

Nothing but good things to say about this blind. Follow their measurement instructions and it's a piece of cake to install. Be sure to pay attention to which way it rolls up (toward window or away from window.). I almost ordered it the wrong way for our application. My wife loves it and guests are amazed how nice it looks and works so well. Goes quite a while between charges, too. Doesn't have to be hooked up to power all the time.

These arrived sooner than expected and we’re exactly as described. I ordered 2 because our sliding doors are 14 feet long. The best part is that the remote can control each blind separately. Also, the solar panels were mounted easily to the roof and can withstand all weather- even with days that are cloudy the shades worked perfectly. Customer service was quick to answer questions and triple check our custom measurements.

I ordered 2 roller shades of the same height but one came 2 inches short. They were the correct width and easy to install and the remote was great and one remote worked for both shades. I couldn’t figure out how to contact the seller and you cannot return or refund item. The look was great but incorrect on size

I was surprised at the quality of these Graywind blinds when I received them in 2021. They are very well built and the measurements were exactly as I had provided. 2 years later and they still work very well. I have 3 window panes next to each other and I like the fact that some light can come in; however, the sides of the window frames provide privacy in between the blinds. I originally had my Google Assistant controlling them, but now, my new Alex Echo (4th Gen) can also control them. It comes with a remote control, but after setting the up and down limits, I haven't used it. The remote is a backup in case I lose internet access. Installing these motorized blinds took a little longer since it required more planning. I took my time and it came out very well. Graywind's customer service is also top notch.
