Just get it. Really, it's that good.
Just get the curved version of this saw. The cutting action occurs when you pull the saw through the wood towards you. No need to try and cut forwards, which with most tree saws is hard to do. The curved saw gives a much better and quicker cut than a straight saw, and is very easy to grip with its curved handle, in my opinion. The teeth on this saw cut through a limb or the trunk of a tree like butter. Well, not really like butter, but with great ease.Pictures show a pine tree at my house that needed severe pruning. I climbed a ladder up about 20 feet or so high to top off two tree trunk branch offs. Now, I am a self-trained professional unlicensed do-it-yourselfer hardheaded fella. Do not try what I did. No need for anyone to get a Darwin Award. The scabbard for the saw is awesome. And can clip onto your belt leaving your hands free to climb a tree or walk around knowing the saw is well secured within. I slid it down the front of my pants like a concealed carry holster and climbed the ladder then withdrew it from the scabbard and got busy. You can see from the tree trunk cut that the width of the trunk is near the length of the saw. No problems at all cutting the big 'ole tree trunk. First I did a small back cut, then went arm a blaz'in with the main cut until it fell to the ground. The blade thickness along with the staggered saw teeth make for a nice kerf in the wood you are cutting to allow an easier cut process. And for the price? What's not to like? For the low price of $50, this American made hand saw is sturdy and well made, and will last for a good long time, if you take care of it, like all your other good quality tools. This hand saw is an excellent value for the money. There is one thing though, if you are cutting green or live pine, expect sap to build up on the sides of the blade, and the cutting teeth, as you can see in the photo. It can slow the cut process. No fault of the blade or makers of the saw. It's sticky pine tree sap. So have some Goo Gone available to clean off the saw while cutting if needed, and when finished.Go big, with this big, American Made, tariff free, 19.3 inch hand saw. It'll outperform near every competitor, (pretty sure anyway), out there.

Cuts like butter.
This thing cuts like butter. I have never tried the expensive ones that are supposedly amazing but I donโt think they can be too much better than this one cause works great. And for the price a no brainer.

SEEMS TO MEET EXPECTATIONS
The EZ Kut Kamikaze Max Saw arrived as expected and was well protected. I did not give 5 stars because I have not had a chance to use it as of yet. However, it appears to be very durable, easy to use, lightweight and very sharp. I will try to provide an updated review after it has been used.

best saw ever
i am a bowhunter and this saw handles 95% of my needs. i own the 15 foot long pole saw to handle the rest. i can cut down a 6 inch tree in less than a minute and it is easy to use. this company makes several different saws for a variety of applications. i have 3 different models and they all exceed expectations. it is a little pricey, but the quality is well worth the cost.

Can't go wrong!
Worth the extra cost. Best pruning saw I've ever used! Love the scabbard - saves all the snags on my yard clothes. Exceptionally sharp, quick to cut, well engineered. Highly recommend EZ Kut products!!

A saw for the everyday outdoors person
This Kamikaze Curved Blade Saw is a must have in your outdoor pack! Its so easy to use and it saws through wood with ease. Found it so useful that I used it one day for cutting up some of my firewood for my smoker so it would fit in my firebox. Well needless to say this purchase is to have this for my barbecue shack so I can cut up the smaller limbs for my smaller smoker. And by smaller some of them are a good 5 and 6 inches around! No need for a chainsaw when this does such a good job. Definitely worth having 2 of them so I don't have to constantly get it out of my outdoor gear.
