Size is correct!
I am 5' 9" and wear size 9. I ordered size 9 and they are perfect. In fact, if I was a size 9 1\2, I believe they would also be the best choice. Do not trust the reviews that say these are sized small. Maybe they used to be, but they are now true to size.

I wear 9, I bought 8 and they are perfect!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Please check video review for more details.I haven't had a chance to check if they leak yet but, so far, they are EXACTLY what I was hoping for:- very light, very flexible and precisely fit my inseam of 32 inches (I am 5.10 and 175 pounds). Also it may help to specify that my upper thigh measurement is 23 inches.- Weight - 1.87 pounds EACH boot.I will definitely need and insole because they are a little too big and because I am sure you can feel every rock through that sole.Again, I am very happy only from trying them on as they fit perfectly!I will post an update from "the field" first time I'm not too tired to go out fishing :)UPDATE - I bought insoles, cut them to size and the boots fit like James Bond's gloves :)I finally went to a local pond tonight and spent a little time in the water - not long, but in 20 min they didn't leak at all. I felt that my legs were slightly damp when I got out but then I considered all the factors - Florida humidity, colder water, skin against rubber - all condensation and sweat.- After reading another review, I was worried that if I wear only shorts the seam between the boot and the upper part of the wader will rub against my leg. No problem at all. I walked 3-4 miles around the lake and the waders are highly comfortable and very, very light.

I run an irrigation district and have them on pretty much daily for 6 months of the year
I am hard on waders. I run an irrigation district and have them on pretty much daily for 6 months of the year, doing everything from flow measurements to digging with shovels to pouring concrete in various creeks, canals, and ditches. I grow tired of paying $130 & up for a set of hip waders that break down and leak after 30 to 60 days of use. I saw these and thought, at $40 dollars I could buy a pair every month if needed and still be dollars ahead.I was very surprised, and impressed with the durablility of these waders. I have used the same pair now for a full season, only having to repair two leaks, which were due to tears on barbed-wire while crossing fences (not the fault of the waders). Admittedly, I have developed the habit of taking a new set of waders out of the box and sealing all seams with Aquaseal before wearing the first time, no matter what brand or price. I did so with these also.My 5-star rating is for price vs quality. Just the fact that they were $40 and lasted me an entire season is worth 5 stars. I wear a 12 1/2 size boot. I ordered these in size 13 and they were a very comfortable fit even with heavy socks. These are "not" insulated, which is what I wanted. Insulation through the heat of summer is not desirable, I can always put on warmer socks when needed. These are very light weight and not bulky. I am 6' 5" - 235 lbs, and the legs of these waders fit very well, coming all the way up to my hip. They don't angle down too much at the top toward the inside of the leg like so many other hip waders do. I like that. They are not as baggy around the leg like so many others either, but yet roomy enough to get on and off easily over a heavy pair of canvas pants. The buckles aren't of the best quality, the boot soles are somewhat pliable and not as firm as I would like, but again, they're $40.My only problem is that I want to order two more pair, but Amazon doesn't have the size 13 anymore. Will have to find them somewhere else.

Priced Right
Quality is on par with the price. These aren't made to last forever, but I won't be surprised if I get 5 years out of them either. If you walk through a lot of brush or brambles to get to your destination I would probably look for something else of higher quality, but if you're heading straight out to the river on a clear path or just use them to cross rivers I suspect they'll hold up for quite a while.Fit wise, I wear a size 9 shoe and purchased the size 9 wader. There is a bit of extra toe at the end of the boot.My advice would be, if you plan on wearing these in the winter, get the wader size that matches your shoe size.If you only plan on wearing them in the summer, you may want to try getting a size smaller.

Want some good ones? Then shel out at least $200
Hey, you can't beat these boots for the price. Want some good ones? Then shel out at least $200. Buy once, cry once. But for this price I can replace them when needed and still be inside the price of a designer pair of waders. No leaks. Size was perfect. I wear a size 9 and they were comfortable. They work!

Pull the waders on by the boots not the legs
For the price, these waders are a great value. The legs were a bit snug but that was my problem as I am a bit on the larger side. I read the reviews before I made the purchase and saw that a few persons were complaining that the waders leaked so I was a little concerned. After my initial examination of the waders I saw were and why this problem might exist. The legs are attached to the boots causing a weak point. I suspect that when the waders were pulled on, some persons pulled them on by the leg rather than by the boot. These would cause stress at the joining and could/would cause separation. I, therefore, suggest that the seller/manufacturer include instructions on how to properly pull on the waders.

Jeans were soaked on first use.
When I inboxed these waders I had high hopes. For the price they looked pretty good. But as soon as I put them on red flags were flying. Many of the reviews said to order a size smaller, so I did. I am a 10.5 to 11 shoe size. The 10 I ordered was not large enough. An 11 would have been good.Next problem, soles of boots are so soft I had difficulty walking in the rocky stream bed. They really hurt my feet.Next problem, I waded to mid thigh, when my fishing was done my jeans were soaked to mid thigh. Both legs! Not sure if the material on top of the rubber boot was porous or if there is some sort of seam problem. My only recommendation is that you wrest them in less than 12 inches of water and use the upper wader material to keep you clear of vegetation.I liked the ability to cinch the upper material to keep the upper wader tight with my leg.

I was worried that they might tear easily due to the thinness
I work for the Water Survey division of Environment Canada and I have been using these waders for a few weeks. I was worried that they might tear easily due to the thinness, but they are holding up perfectly. These are super comfortable and light. If you are looking for any kind of thermal insulation, these are not the waders you want, but for the hot summer temperatures, these are really nice to wear. I don't even take these off when I'm driving most of the day. I will be buying more of these for work.

Does the job, good for the price....
Bought them because I went on a trip where it was necessary to jump out of the boat every once in a while to pull the boat in shallow water, or to tie the boat at the destination... Very light use, but as long as I used them did the job well - did not leak, easy to put on and take off, easy to carry (light).

As described, a bit narrow when usiing warm sox and insoles.
Have not used these yet but they seem well made and designed. I am a woman size 9 with a wide fit. I had to go up a size to get the width. Bought men's size 8 and they fit well with a wool felt insole and heavy sock. They seem easy to walk in and not too clunky. I like the thigh cinch strap rather than using the belt strap as I will be using them getting in and out of the boat. These cut down the weight over my all rubber boots by a third. Using the same insole and sock combo, my husband found that the width was a bit narrow and the next size became too long.

Light weight and waterproof
I’ve had these a couple of years now and they are a good value for the price. I’ve had no issues with leaks and they don’t make you sweat as bad as other hip waders I’ve owned.

Great waders, great price, and work great!
I could not be happier with these waders. I have used them a few times with zero leak issues. They cinch down on your thighs, and also have clips you can put through your belt loops to keep them in place. I was able to walk through the river over rocks with no slip issues, and they pack down very small.
