Excellent Quality
Pros: The cards are sturdy and very detailed. The cards come in a VHS Case which provided protection for the cards and makes for easy storage.Cons: The VHS case they come in is a great protector however not ideal fro young players since they tend not to stack the cards and just toss them in. I put the cards in a quart sized zip-lock bag inside the case which greatly helped. These cards are a great addition to any game play.

scale is completely off
I like the images, and I like the resourcefulness of using an old vhs tape cover as a box. These are however useless unless you plan on having a city filled with giants. Theres no way this is scaled for use with pathfinder dnd or anything else that uses heroic scale miniatures. This was a fail. Don't waste your money.

I like the images and quality of the materials they are ...
I like the images and quality of the materials they are made from, but there are WAY too many repeats of each character figure.

Finally all the unts you want that no one else makes.
The media could not be loaded. I really like City Folk because it focuses in on units that are not really available in any other miniature or pawn product out there. Finally you can populate your city with butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers quite literally. This also comes with 24 plastic bases unlike the Pathfinder Pawns where you have to buy the bases separately. The art work is also much better than the Pathfinder brand and better laid out.

Solid product that meets a game master's needs
I received this product through the initial Kickstarter and found that it definitely lived up to my expectations even if it didn't necessarily surpass them. My criticisms of the product are meant only in a purely constructive manner as I appreciate what this company is bringing to the world of gaming aids and would like to see them continue to put out more and better products. Perhaps the clearest statement I can make is that if they put out a second product like this with more and different NPCs, I'd very probably buy it. There's plenty of room to expand such a product line, such as NPCs that are non-human (which was one of the unmet stretch goals), rural villagers/farmers, nobles (for courtly intrigue/high society mingling), upper class servants (guards, falconers, stewards, master-at arms, scribes, etc.), monks/clergy...As a recommendation, this is a very good solution for GMs looking for physical representations of townsfolk to fill out crowds and to use for those RP-only NPCs that don't have a good match amongst many of the more combat-oriented hero/monster miniatures out there. These are similar in concept to the pawn sets put out by Paizo, so that's the term I'll use for them.PROS:-Good variety of male and female human NPCs geared towards an urban setting. I'd say the only group completely overlooked would be some elderly men and women of different social stations.-Product includes multiples of all individual characters with several receiving duplicate or triplicate treatment by presenting the same individuals in their work environments with their work clothes, "on the street" in their work clothes, and "on the street" in their plainclothes. If you lose or damage any particular pawn, it is easily replaced. While these are printed on a much thinner, coated paper stock than the Paizo pawns, you'll probably never notice if you lose a few along the way thanks to the duplication.-The artwork is well executed with some of the characters really coming to life. The work environments are also well-populated with items and furnishings.CONS:-It's a bit of a personal preference, but I think CG artwork can be an odd fit with fantasy and would prefer 2D-style art. The CG art leads to a few poses that are a little artificial-looking, and some of the characters (such as the beggars) are not executed in a way you'd hope. The universal brick wall background also comes off a little bland.-Since you receive so many of each pawn, this is not a major problem, but the set I received showed distinct variation amongst the duplicates of any given piece due to the printing not being consistent. Overall, the printing is a little on the dark side.-The packaging does not lend itself to any natural system of organization. There are so many pieces, that I spent probably an hour sorting them all and then found that there wasn't a good way to store my groupings in the box. Unless you're comfortable having to scrounge for the right pawn every time, you'll need to find your own way to sort and store these, which may very well involve a new container.

A simple solution to a continuing problem
We like to use lots of miniatures in our gaming and a continuing problem is what to do about all the passers by and dwellers in a city or town that make it look like something other than a ghost town with just heroes and bad guys. This product meets that need really well.Don't mistake what it is, these are 2 dimensional pictures on heavy laminated cardstock. That said, they look really good, there is a lot of variety, and they take up about the same space as a standard 28mm miniature. As a plus, the set fills out those NPCs you just don't find in pre-painted or even metal miniatures: Butchers, alchemists, street sellers, etc. It adds a whole new dimension when the heroes have to chase a thief through the crowded streets that are really crowded with figures or fight in a barroom brawl where the place is really packed with potential non-combatants.the whole thing fits in a box the size of video cassette box so storage is easy too. The pieces are pretty durable and fit on standard card stands making them, in my opinion, much nicer than the triangle paper armies you normally see. I see this product coming onto the gaming table many times in the future and I hope the company has plans for a modern or Sci-fi version of the same thing.

Great for RPG GMs who want to fill those crowded markets and town square scenes
This product is a great resource for any GM looking to create those crowded flea market or market square scenes that often happen in cities and towns. No longer will the Players and GM simply have to rely upon verbal descriptions to show the massive mayhem that is the beginning of may an encounter with before a mob scene begins. You can show why you can't throw those massive attack into the crowd without clearing innocent civilians.Worthwhile purchase, even if there are many duplicates. The figures are a thin plastic stock, that holds up well and is brightly colored and visualizes easily, showing themselves clearly. Injured figures can be simply layed down, allowing depiction of injured civilians without obstructing game play and character miniatures during game play.
