Zilla Screen Cover with Center Hinge for Reptiles, 24" x 12"

My new cat is OBSESSED with my fish tanks. I turn around and there she is, literally with her whole upper body in the fish tank trying to drink the water and get at the fish. I bought this cover because I figured it's strong enough for snakes, so it'll work for cats. It works a treat! The only cats in the fish tank now are the catfish! The metal is so sturdy and strong that the cat can lie on top of the tank and it doesn't bow or budge at all. The hinged cover is also so nice. I can just perch the light over the back half, so I don't have to take the whole thing off to clean, feed, or rearrange things, I can just open the front half quickly and easily. The cover is designed with open corners so it can be bent if you need it slightly wider or slightly narrower. It fits perfectly over the clip for the filter and there's a gap around the hinge that is the perfect width for the heater cord to come through it. It's a perfectly designed product, truly. Totally worth it in every sense. Absolutely amazing.

I like it very much, it allows air nicely into the tank but keeps the gerbils secure inside. Now my gerbils don't escape through the top of the tank lol. Very sturdy, I like that it opens half the lid and you don't have to take the whole thing off.

We use this top for a Leopard Gecko habitat. We still need a piece of plexiglass over part of the screen to keep the humidity in, but it makes it very easy to get get into the habitat for cleaning, feedings, and anything else.

I purchased this 24" x 12" Zilla Screen Cover with Center Hinge for out bearded dragon tank. That was back in 2017 when he was a baby. He moved on to a much larger tank with a much larger lid but this lid is still going strong on our leopard gecko. Good quality purchase.

You will need this if you are trying to keep anytime of reptile that can escape. These are currently being used for a Ball Python enclosure which works perfect and with locks installed this guy had no chance to escape as a matter of fact he was unable to even budge the lid. Able to keep you heat lamps or lights in place and only opening the front end. The hinge make this screen lid the best way to go and keeps you from having to move lights etc around. Would purchase again.
