Boker Plus 01BO750 War Toad Folding Knife with 2 in. 440C Stainless Steel Blade

This is a great little knife . The chisel end will be used for oysters and clams . Candidly the chisel end sold me on this product . It works fine for prying open lids . I like that it's short for the oysters because I always chew my hands up with my butter knife style . I think it will be harder to gouge myself .I own/have owned some really great knives . Spyderco Navaja , Ulize . Great knives but for me they are just too purpose built to carry them all the time . As soon as I got the War Toad it was in my pocket walking and riding around .Carry is easier and snag free . It is more expensive than some and it's bigger than the Boar and Bokers other small , fat Boker knives . The War Toad is a nice step up on the smaller , wide blades , it's more the size of the dagger style skinners that were introduced in the 1990s . It's a mean looking blade that doesn't come out fast . I'm ok with that .It comes with a belt holster if that's your style , but then you can't feel the weight of it in your pocket , show it off or brag on your consumer prowess of finding great little folders that can work as hard as they look .

This is a fantastic knife both for the hobbyist and collector, beautifully designed and produced, and also definitely the last knife I will ever purchase from Boker Plus.There is no easier way to destroy a wonderful knife than to remove the user's ability to take care of it. That is just what Boker Plus did with this knife. By loctiting the screws, they prevent you from opening the knife up in order to maintain it.Geoff Blauvelt totes his knives as "pimpable" or easy to modify. Boker Plus has unceremoniously ripped apart one of the biggest draws to his designs. Even the pocket clip screws have threadlocker on them!

love the design and would rate it much higher if the blade was a better steel

this thing is from outer space. You have to keep it in the pouch because the pry bar is sharp as hell.

I love this knife. Size wise it is short enough to fall unter most States knife law restrictions yet it is very intimidating looking and sharp to boot. This would make a great every day carry blade with the pocket clip or the included sheath and I think it can take anything you throw at it.Get one before they're gone.

Just a cool freakin knife. Amazing blade and sharp as could be. Its a little cumbersome to get out of the pocket and takes up a decent bit of space but itseems worth it. Plus it just looks neat
