Great take on hard salami/sausage with a unique and pleasant flavor.
I was looking for Italian hard salami and ran across this product. I read about it and thought I would try a new and unique flavor from Hungary. I was very pleased by the combination of flavors with the dominate spicing being paprika. It is fairly mild but flavorful. It's great alone, with cheese, bread, crackers and pairs well with red wine too (Malbec is my favorite, so far). (Just a caution, I fed some to my Chihuahua and she was not feeing well the next morning. I did some research and found that Paprika may upset doggy tummies. I guess the only down side is she will have to enjoy other delicacies from now one and this will be reserved for people. Perhaps it should be called Sausage Paprikash!

Tender, flavorful, and easily stored!
They got the spices and herbs right in this one! I have been searching for a Hungarian salami or sausage for a long time since our German deli closed near us. Over thr ten years, I have tried a lot of them. This one is the best for authenticity, flavor, and consistency. Really pleased and the kids love it every Christmas! Makes a great stocking stuffer! 😍😍😍

Sweet, not spicy, not 2 lbs.
Ad says 2lb. I got 1 lb 13 oz, still packaged. Flavor is sweet, not spicy, even paprika was hard to note. It's pleasant enough for snacking with cheese and crackers. But as I prefer spicy, and this is under sized, I will not order again. It wasnt advertised as spicy, so my fault, but Hungarian? I was hoping for some hot paprika, at least some pepper. If you want sweet meat flavor, this works. Not a complex flavor.

Excellent flavor. Sweet paprika gives this salami a distinctive taste which I suggest every afficianado of charcuterie should try. The paprika mediates the sour and bitter of a standard salami cure and delivers a taste complementing the meats, where the fat content acts in tandem with the spice and cure to tantalize your palate. Very satisfying. Not as fatty as a sopresata. Not greasy. Recommended for your charcuterie plates or for ethnic special occasions. Will buy again.

Not a Hungarian salami at all
This should not be called a Hungarian Salami. This does not come even close to it. It has some very tin cover, hard to remove, spitting it out off my mouth by some parts while eating it. I grew up in Europe and the eat the real Hungarian Salami for a number of years.
