BALM OF GILEAD Manuka Eczema Honey Cream - Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin, Eczema, Psoriasis & Dermatitis - Manuka Honey Ointment, Grassfed Tallow

I recommend this balm. While it does have a very strong scent, it is very effective in calming skin irritations, etc. But, the scent does not linger a long time. Also, the balm is quite soothing. It has a creamy, non-oily texture and does not stain clothing. Only a small amount is needed to be effective. My first can lasted almost a year with 5 days/week use. The packaging is very nice because the metal can is enclosed in nicely sealed and structured boxing. Classy touch to the packaging. The con of the product is that the previous formula (purchased in 2025) had a higher content of Manuka Honey than this current version. However, the balm still appears to be effective. The price is good considering that the product will last a long time.

I immediately noticed a difference within a few seconds of application. I have dermatitis and eczema that is severely itchy and painful. I have tried several different products, some natural and some prescriptions, including steroid creams. Some have worked okay but taken several days to clear up my skin. Others haven't worked at all to stop the intense itching, not even the prescription creams. This is the first that has worked so quickly to relive the itching and pain. After only 1-2 applications, my redness was gone and the itching almost non-existent. See the before and after photos. Some spots are extra stubborn, like those on my scalp, which need more than 2 applications to clear up. However, this makes the pain and itching much more bearable while waiting for the sores to go away completely. This is the first ointment that I only need to use a little for it to work. Many others I have gone through a whole container in less than a month. This product I have probably used about a quarter of the container so far. This means a lot to me because most of the natural salves are so expensive. Even though the price of this may seem high, it really isn't since it only takes a little to bring relief. And 4 oz is lasting me quite a long time. The scent is light and herbal/essential oil smelling. This is no problem for me because I like those scents and it's really light. Also, some products containing manuka honey have a really strong (almost unpleasant) smell - this one doesn't. It's very easy to apply. Just scoop a little onto your finger, then rub it in where you need it. I'm not sure how to describe the texture of the salve but I will try. I really like the feeling compared to some others I have tried. It's solid when you first open it. It will soften up with the warmth of your finger. It feels silky and smooth, and absorbs quickly. You can see a sheen on your skin which some people may call oily or greasy. But it's a very light feeling on my skin in my opinion. Some other salves I have used seem heavier and even waxy feeling. This does not. I definitely recommend trying this if you have itchy or painful skin. Or even just to have on hand for bug bites or cuts. The ingredients in this are really good for your skin health.

OMG!!!! So I was hesitant, but let me tell you something, I have been using this on my post op vsg surgery scars and its healing them beautifully. The consistency is nice, not super greasy and absorbs very nicely. I use this fresh out the shower. I have sensitive skin and there is no irritation at all. I also use this on my knees, elbows, and feet. This has now been added to my need to buy list every couple of months. One container has lasted me about a months and you dont need a whole lot to use at one time. 10/10 definitely recommend. As for the price is was initially upset but after seeing what it is doing, absolutely worth it.

The cylindrical cardboard packaging material was stellar. It had a top and bottom so I gave it to my grandson to hide items in it. The Manuka honey cream is somewhat greasy but does a great job as a moisturizer. Skins feels soft and smooth after an overnight application. No skin irritation. Quite a bit of product in the metal product canister so it wil last for a while - probably a couple of months It is far from fragrance-free though! Hard to describe the smell but I'm sure "earthy herbal smell" is a good catch all. Will I buy it again - yes I would. I'll take results over getting used to the smell.

This product works well for itching skin, and rash. You only need to use a little bit, and it goes a long way. However, it does have a greasiness to it, especially if you use too much. It does absorb somewhat after a few hours. It does help with the redness from skin irritation. I have not found any problems with the ingredients and seems to be true to what it shows. Overall, I appreciate this product and the relief it has provided. This is not a cure for skin issues and if not used daily I have found by the second day my skin starts to have issue again. Also, if you wash your affected area daily it may not be as effective.

I cannot recommend this enough. It does have a strong smell of tea tree, which I don’t mind. You don’t need a lot or it can get greasy, but will absorb in if you don’t over do it and rub it in. I have autoimmune issues which can result in skin irritation. I developed a patch of psoriasis on my eyelid. This product was able to clear it up. As long as I continue to use it daily it has been staying clear. It has also helped clear up my adult acne. It doesn’t happen overnight, but the patch on my eyelid is gone and that makes me so happy. I have even recommended it to others who I know have similar issues. A little goes a long way and it lasts a long time.

Great stuff. I had a breakout of extremely bad, small heat blisters, itching, dry , cracked hands to the point that the webs of my fingers were splitting. It wouldn't go away for about 2-3 months. It was painful trying to use my hands as it would split any cracks more. I tried many different moisturizers, topical creams, Vaseline, cortizone cream, Working Hands etc. I had never heard of this product but I was desperate to try anything that would help. So before going to bed, I would use a very small amount to cover my hands as it is very oily, I also bought a 6 pack of cheap cotton gloves to wear and let it soak in overnight. By the 2rd day it was already working. I noticed a little difference but the 3rd day I was very impressed at how quickly it was healing, looking 10x better and was no longer inching. I've now been using this 2x a week just to keep my hands healthy. Best one I've used. If you're thinking about purchasing this because you have skin issues like me and haven't found anything yet that's work for you. Try it, I've been telling everyone that has similar skin issues about this stuff. Wish I found this product years ago.

My 2 year old daughter has severe eczema. We have purchased this cream over 5 times it helps her a lot. This last purchase I received the wrong product, I received their frankincense cream instead. I decided to try it since their Manuka honey cream is so great. I have even recommended to family members with eczema and they have also purchased. The Frankincense cream didn’t give her any relief and her skin actually got worse. I’m disappointed because seeing as we have used up half of it trying to give it a try I now can’t return it. I will be a loyal costumer of the Manuka honey cream. We purchase about twice a month but I am leaving a 3 star for receiving the wrong product and would like some type of resolution for the mistake. My purchase was delayed and then received the wrong product so I was very disappointed and desperate to put something on her skin as we are trying to avoid steroid creams.
