First update - black raspberry bushes
I received 2 separate starter bushes in the mail. Wrapped well in plastic with cardboard surrounding the plants to keep from being crushed. The soil was moist enough still and I put them directly into a pot with good top soil. Within 3 days they both started sprouting. They are only in direct sunlight right now about 2 hours out of the day - all my starters are on my back screened in porch. In another week I will transfer them to the raised bed with the lattice, where they will remain. I will come back with an update in another month and provide more pictures. So far they seem very viable. I am also watering them daily right now. In a week I will add my spent tea bags that I also infuse with calcium and magnesium and bury next to the roots and ceramic water pot buried next to the plants as well. The roots will encompass the clay pot to get to the water that leaches out of it. 🤞 so far we have success. I think this vendor did very well in their delivery & packaging. The next year or so will tell when the fruit is produced.1 more week has passed - we’ve had a few cold nights (40s) so I packed the top with coconut fiber to help insulate the roots. Growing like crazy! I believe these bushes will do splendid here in Central FL. This summer will tell.02/11/2024 - 3 weeks and both are flourishing. Very viable plant stock. Ready to plant in permanent location.3/18/2024 - Kept one in the shade and only water about once a week, allowing soil to dry out some around the top and edges. Doing VERY well. The Soil is also a higher acid, I used coconut fiber to cover the top of the soil. The other I planted about 3 weeks ago in full sun, this is getting water nearly every day, also has some coconut fiber and not growing as fast but it is spreading and having new growth further from the main plant.

Don't waste your money
These are a total ripoff! They are Itty bitty 1" pots. I tried to return them and the cost to ship back was ridiculous amount.

Love my Jewel Raspberries
Received 2 plants on 6/27/24, both havs leaves come in already, it's 7/2/24. I would say these 2 are winners! I'm so impressed with the quality of my bareroots.

Wasn't sure what i got?
I ordered the Caroline Red and a black raspberry. When I opened the box, I found I received two small looking green leafy plants that looked ready for planting, and I also received two dry stems with roots at the end and they came with one card. That was it. They were not labelled, and no additional instructions came with them. I am not a green thumb, and these are my first planting project, so I did not know what was what without labels. I called the phone number on the card and the guy who answered explained to me what they were and said he would call me the next day to give me some instructions because he was driving at the moment. He never called. I went ahead and planted them as best as I could, and they have not died yet although it's hard to tell with the stems. We will see what happens. I think I should have purchased them from Wal Mart or Lowes as I know they have the items labelled properly and they come in what looks like little mini bushes ready for planting. What I received looked like parts that came off a full-grown raspberry bush and we need to make them grow somehow? Like I said I am not a green thumb so maybe these would be better for someone who has better plant knowledge? Overall, I was not happy with what I got for the price I paid.

Arrived fresh and healthy
We bought two and they arrived promptly and looked great. We planted them immediately. The next morning when we checked on them we had trouble finding them. During the night something (probably a wascal wabbit) ate the plants right down to ground level. He/she never touched anything else in our raspberry patch (normal, red raspberries). I'm writing this to remind others to protect them - they are not cheap. Lesson learned 🤔

this product was received in excellent packaging and in great shape. It even included a phone number to call the seller with any problems. I was very impressed with this order and definitely will keep this vendor in mind .

Plant size
I was disappointed at the small size of the plants. For $20 per plant I expected them to be 1/4 inch canes cut to 12 inches or so.
