L'Oreal Paris Feria Wild Ombre, Medium to Dark Brown(Packaging May Vary)

I bought O60 for medium to dark brown hair even though my natural hair color is closer to black. I have lightened my hair before to an all over dark brown color - if you're doing this on pitch black hair I recommend lightening it to a softer black/dark brown before doing the ombre. If using on black hair, then it's probably best to wash it off when your hair lightens to a dark brown for a more natural look (as seen in one reviewer's photo)In summary this kit works well if you wash it off before it gets to that brassy orange color (this only applies if you have very dark hair to start) so keep a close eye. If using on dark hair it won't actually go blonde so keeping it on for the full time probably won't help. I can see many scenarios where this might not provide the intended results so it's sort of a "use at your own risk" kinda product.A tip (which I didn't employ on myself but will in the future) is to alternate sides as you apply, as in don't do one entire side of your head first and then the other side. I started on my left side and the hair on that side ended up lighter than the right side. If you can get someone to help applying to the top back parts that would be even better.At the end of the day, this is basically bleach. What this particular kit provides is some ease of application with the applicator comb. I also found that there's enough product in one box for long thick hair. But I was going for a more subtle balayage type look instead of a dramatic ombre like what's shown on the box. I would think you'd want more of a gradient than what you see on the box, but that's just my preference.

I have now purchased and used this kit twice (with about 5 months in between applications) and I'm in love. I did the ear to tips ombre the first time, and then re-did it because my hair had grown. For retouching it up, you may want a friend to help you out and be the eyes in the back of your head so you don't over process the parts that were already colored (unless that's what you want). As a tip, please read up on the process and watch plenty of YouTube videos before using this kit! And have a plan. A lot of the negative reviews are due to users not having a plan and either damaging their hair or just not getting the results that they wanted. I decided that I wanted a nice blend from my medium brown to the blonde on the ends, so I applied at appropriate intervals and it came out amazingly. For only $10, I have fantastic color that has cost no less than $65 per process in the past at salons. You will also want to have a color safe deep conditioner on hand to sit on your hair after the process. I did this and now more than a week later my hair is still soft, healthy and free of damage. The subscription option is very convenient and affordable, so I will be re-coloring every six months. Enjoy!

I thought this might be a better product for forehead hair instead of platinum blond. The platinum blond takes a longer time to come. I had delusions people stalk me and think I bought it cause of a girl and try to say I'm not the type of guy to get a girl. I imagined the girl on the cover dyeing her hair black and people all over my city using the same product insulting me. I am trying to get natural blond hair like my forehead hair is, regardless I need it for the back of my hair even if the hair does turn blond. I make balls over my fox/wolf ears coming in. I was gonna use it for my tail. I might naturally get glowing blue fur tail coming in. I had some thoughts of using it for facial hair but I naturally have blond sideburns, cheek hair and beard should get light blue naturally and grow faster with no water.

The product was shipped immediately and I received it within the week. The seller included a hair band and hair clip too! However, the product itself is okay. I have an okay ombre look, but it's not as intense as I wanted it to be. My hair just turned light blonde , I thought it would be light blonde where I started and went to almost bleachy blonde at the tips (it does not). But overall, great service, and maybe my ombre hair dying skills just aren't up to par with my expectations. Also, L'Oreal only includes a shapooing conditioner, instead of the intense after coloring conditioner.This product is not any different than buying regular lighter hair coloring and applying that from shoulder to tip.

I saw this product had mixed reviews but really wanted to try it. I have dark brown hair and usually do not lighten my hair. I recently had added a few highlights from a store bought kit, to the bottom and they came out a pretty carmel color so I thought this would help me get the whole look...now I know I had highlighted some of my hair but it seemed I had waited long enough and it wasn't a large section. When I was younger I used to do all types of funky coloring things so though this would work. For the first time ever in ym life, my air fried...I mean FRIED!!! It was burnt orange and my normally very healthy hair that lays down pretty flat and easily blow dries straight, was sticking out about 3 fried inches. I now know the definition of frying your hair!!!! Thank goodness I had a box of dark dye, I had no choice...I put it right on top of that orange mess....it was so, so bad...I had too. Came out, my hair did not fall off but I took on major damage. That night I slept in conditioner and have slept in conditioner and oil many times since. I went to have an inch cut off and was told to cut off all damage, I would have to cut off a lot more than I would be able to handle (I am a long hair person and do not want short hair, was trying to grow out from bad hair cut). So now I will have to just keep going in to have a little trimmed here and there. I saw some mixed reviews but usualy when I take my chances with hair products, it works out...if it doesn't it's not a major mistake. This was! The box reccomends for virgin hair, maybe for virgin hair it would be okay. I also did leave on a little extra for proccessing, because it seemed the color was not lifting. I had done this before with no issues, but this time, no way! Wish I never tried!

Strong product, easy to use but I mix up the bottle wrong. Greatly it wasn't big damage, I want to know when can I reapply. I couldn't get the desired results due to my mistake.. pls someone knows

I LOVE this box dye!I'm aware of all the negative feedback this stuff got, but it gave my hair a PERFECT honeyed ombre look I haven't been able to achieve anywhere else. Used it on a very expensive yaki Brazilian hair, and treated with conditioner in the shower. No dryness if you shove moisture back in immediately!Please come back
