Oxford Practice Grammar Advanced is divided into 17 units which provide a review of the grammar of contemporary English. Within each unit there are separate sections on specific features e.g. Present Perfect or Past Simple. As well as the types of exercises you will be used to there are some exercises specifically designed for students who are becoming more advanced in English. These include: summary exercises, dictionary exercises, matching and editing activities. You can either start at the beginning and work through to the end or choose the order in which you want to study the grammar topics, perhaps starting with those that are giving you problems. Two-page tests at the end of each unit or section mean you can see how much you have learned and decide if you need more practice. For those unsure of some of the terminology there is also a Glossary explaining the meaning of all the grammatical terms.

Genial para el C1 o C2
Está muy bien para prepararse, tanto para el C1 como para el C2. Lo recomiendo muchísimo si buscas un libro que se centre solamente en la gramática si ya tienes otro libro más general. En el curso que estoy haciendo del C2 lo recomiendan. Las explicaciones son muy claras y los ejercicios también, me está ayudando mucho. Ha llegado en perfecto estado!

2019年発行の本書はそれ以前に発行されたものとは表紙が一新され，目次のフォントや構成が変わって改訂版のように見えるが，本書の内容は2012年およびそれ以前に発行されたG. Yule; Oxford Practice Grammar(Advanced)と同じであるから、すでにお持ちの方は新たに購入する必要はない。しかし定評のある文法書であるから，まだ持っていない方は購入をお勧めする。用例も日常をテーマにしているものが大部分で，練習問題は豊富で，文法の説明も新鮮である。参考に不定代名詞の説明と用例を引用する。After indefinite pronouns as subjects, we usually use singular verbs and plural pronouns.(主語としての不定代名詞は，通例単数動詞で受け，複数代名詞で呼応する)If anyone calls, just take their number and say I’ll call them back as soon as possible.（もし（私が留守中）誰かから電話がかかってきたら，電話番号を聞いて、できるだけ早く折り返し電話しますと伝えてください）(p.98)。
