Great for some steady heat, but a little sweet
Have been eating this for 30 years since a stint in Jacksonville where we used it all the time. I've had disappointing experiences with hot sauces up here (save for a few absurdly hot ones based on the carolina reaper or ghost peppers) so finding this on amazon has been a blessing. Good stuff, though the mango element is not my favorite.

Has edta (a preservative)
It used to be made without preservatives. It now has edta. I poured it out and won't be buying again

Best hot sauce in the world!
I've been using Trinidad hot sauce since 1989 when the owner built us a beautiful home on the intracoastal waterway in St. John's County. They gave us our first bottles of mild sauce and over the years, I've built up to the extra hot. It has the best flavor and is the hottest I've found anywhere. You must give it a try if you like hot sauce, then ask your grocer to shelve it. It is a must at our home and I go crazy if I run out before I can find more. It is rather hard to find. Thank God for Amazon!

Right Amount of Heat and the Right Amount of Flavor
This hot sauce has great heat and amazing flavor. Not all hot sauces can give you both heat and flavor and this one does an excellent job of delivering both very well. If you're passionate about hot sauces that are both flavorful and hot, I would highly recommend this one.

Pricey, mild habanero flavor
Being the XX Hot version, I was still surprised it burned my lips for several minutes after eating. More savory than sweet, light vinegar base, flavors go well with jerk foods; hoped for stronger habanero flavor. The blend melds well with habanero flavor. It does not burn the back of my throat like the Red Savina Pure Habanero Hot Sauce

The Very Best
This is my all-time favorite hot sauce. It is very hot yet has a great and very noticeable flavor to it. The heat from many overly-hot hot sauces out-powers any flavor that might have been there. This sauce, however, is extremely flavorful and pleasantly hot. I just wish I could find it in local stores like I could in Atlanta, GA, back in the late 90s.

Not hot at all
The words "Extra Hot" mean something to consumers. People who fearful of heat do not buy products with those words included in the labelling. This was a huge disappointment. And the flavour isn't that great. It's not repulsive but it's nothing to talk about.
