Buyers Products BH82000 8 Ton Combination Hitch with 2 Inch Ball, Black

Good Product WITH TWO MAJOR FLAWS. The BH82000 combo Hitch is well made with a good finish, HOWEVER THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS. The nut that holds the 2 inch ball on IS NOT THE STANDARD 1 1/2 inch nut that everybody else uses. It is Chinese made and the conversion from metric to SAE isn't quite right, assuming that it was supposed to be a standard 1 1/2 inch size. The Chinese made it a 40 MM size, SO NO 1 1/2 inch SOCKET will fit, neither will 38MM 0R 39 MM sockets. I tried. THE ONLY SIZE THAT FITS IS SAE 1 5/8 inch socket in your choice of drives. 1 5/8 " SAE fits like a charm. BE ADVISED THAT THE EXTRA LONG 1 1/2 inch WRENCH THAT THE DEALER SELLS WILL NOT WORK. SECOND FLAW IS IN THE TIGHTENING INSTRUCTIONS.The written text says to TORQUE TO 350 FOOT POUNDS. SAY WHAT !!!!. Discussed this figure with companyat same time as the nut problem. They said that 150 FOOT POUNDS was correct. 350 ft pds is Abrams M1A4territory, as well as a gold plated ticket to a hernia. Again, good product with two caveats. BEPREPARED AND NO PROBLEMO.

worked great

This is a good quality hitch I would recommend buying

Came with all the necessary hardware and bolted up to my Reese hitch plate without issue.

Exact bolt pattern for my 2004 FL70 dump truck

This is how the packaging looked when I took it out of the second box

Use it to tow a wood chipper & 14' trailer.

Bought this to tow my camper home with my 550 instead of my 1500. For that price, it was a no brainer!
