OTC4410 Metric and Standard Master Bushing Drive Set - 33 Piece

I just bought a 12 ton press for the garage and this is a great accent to it. So many selection to work with and they are all in mint condition. Perfectly round for the application of your choice.Definitely recommend for the DIY guy!

Nice little set.I bought this for a 700r4 transmission rebuild in hopes of saving my self a small fortune for the proper set.For the most part this worked great for the smaller bushings, however some of the bushings were either just a tad to large or a tad to small for to drive the bushings in really solid.In the end being very careful and mindful on how the driver was sitting on the bushing worked great.I did have a few mistakes that could not be smoothed out that required a replacement bushing, but overall I was very happy with the value.

I used this bushing driver kit to install King pins on a medium duty front axle and it served its purpose greatly.. The only part I would replace on it is the small screw that holds the center doubled sized ends together which broke. The kit sends two of these small screws with it but I will now buy a few back up screws so I always have them for future jobs that require this awesome kit. Buy it!

Metric bushing drivers allowed me to replace the bushing under the rear wheel next to the shock without having to remove the entire knuckle. I only needed one, but it was well worth it to avoid paying a mechanic. It turned a 10 hour ammeter job into a less than 2 hour job. These will only work if the center metal spindle of the bushing has been ripped out either by wear and tear or by pliers (not a problem in my case). They will not work to drive in a new pushing - get a large socket a tiny bit smaller than the bushing, a long carriage bolt, and a nut to hold the contraption together and use that to pound in the new bushing without causing damage to the bushing. Also, clean, file and grease all metal-against-metal contact points before hand and bring your patience.

Great set in a case, Have used them many times. Very handy to have.

very good quality set otc provides high quality tools for professional technicians to use everyday and while I'm no longer in the field i still do my own repair work including custom car building this has worked very well so far
