Quality-built oil delivery gun, recommended.
This thing worked great for me! I used it today to pump 75w-90 synthetic gear oil into my front and rear differentials. It is large, very solidly built, and never leaked past the seal. Here are some things I learned:1) The inside was pretty heavily greased from the factory. I opened it up and cleaned that out with a rag.2) I see some of the reviews didn't like the thick hose. For me, this worked great, as I had to snake it through a bunch of stuff in the way to get to the fill hole(s). The thick hose stayed rigid enough for me to do that. If you need a thinner diameter hose, you can easily purchase one at a hardware store.3) My suction gun never leaked anything past the seal. I was using a heavier gear oil, and haven't had a chance yet to test on ATF. Will update the review when I do.4) The reservoir is big! This is a huge plus over other ones that I've worked with in the past. This easily holds half a quart of liquid, which makes this a lot faster than smaller ones.5) The one issue I had was that I was unable to easily suck the gear oil out of the new container. I think this is what other people are reporting as 'not smooth' or 'jerking' on the pull stroke. The solution (for me) was super easy, however. The output end screws off very easily. I just unscrewed the end, poured in an amount to fill the entire reservoir with oil, then screwed the end back on. Then carried this over to the car, and injected it into the differential. The push stroke is very smooth and it works easily. This tool made quick work of what was a nightmare last time around.Update 3/16/17: So I had a chance to test the suction gun with synthetic ATF. It did indeed leak a small amount. Mostly a few drips out of the vent on the handle side, and once or twice a small run down the handle as I was opening it. Mostly when I was opening and holding it upright (so that I could pour the ATF into the top like I describe above). Once I got the top on and was just holding in horizontal/level and working with it, it did not drip or leak ATF. Still completely usable, and I would have no problem using it again for another job. FYI.

Heavy Duty, Excellent Product, Save Money Using This.
I purchased this mostly because my dealer wanted to charge me $169 to flush out my power steering fluid. Did my own research and seen all that is needed is a suction gun and new fluid. I used this other other day and it does a tremendous job. I sucked out the power steering fluid, added fresh, turned the steering back n forth to cycle and sucked out the fluid again and added fresh. Did this about 3-4 times until clear and saved quite a bit of money and now will do my 2 other vehicles, took maybe 15min. This item is pretty heavy, well constructed, the sucking action is nice and tight. Nothing flimsy about this at all. My only complaint if you want to call it that is the hose that came with it is only the length of the box it came in or the length of the pump about 12 inches, and it was too large to fit in the small opening of my power steering reservoir. The inside diameter of the hose is roughly 24mm or about 3/8". I had to take a 3/8 inch O.D hose and slide it up inside this hose to get it into the reservoir which gave me additional length so that was fine. But it did a great job extracting the fluid, pretty much 1 pull on the handle extracted all the fluid from reservoir. Could come in handy for clogged sinks, sucking water out before removing the p-trap, removing old brake fluid from Master Cylinder etc..

This tool is great. It's a lot bigger than you might expect from the picture and is very solid. It makes a difficult and messy job much easier. If you check the reviews of other siphons, oil pumps, and suction guns, you will see a lot of complaints about tools that don't work well, or that leak. Not this one. The OTC 2359 is a pro quality tool and for less than $15 you can't go wrong.I used a make-shift tool to change the oil in a differential and it took forever. With the OTC, I changed a larger amount of transmission fluid in a few minutes. When you need to push oil up and into a transmission or differential, this tool works great. The only criticism I have is that the diameter of the hose is on the large side. It just fit in a hole from a 22mm bolt. If the bolt hole had been smaller, it would not have fit. You might be able to step it down, or fit a smaller tube over the barb on the oil gun.I might not use this tool very often, but even so, I got my money's worth using it just once.

Great product, works as described, easy to use.
This pump was much bigger than I had thought it would be, and it suited my needs perfectly, for flushing the power steering fluid in my car.Update: ordered this january 2017, and have used it dozens of times for everything from power steering, motor oil, gear oil, transmission fluid and more. Great for hard to reach places where a funnel would not work, as you can use this upside down while underneath the car. Also good for thicker fluids by pushing them out quickly. I prefer this over electric pumps because they can be bulkey and require a power supply. This hand pump will last a lot longer too.

Pretty good
This showed up oily on the outside, that is ok. Quality is pretty good, but I have not yet used it to "suck" oil.

POS
I wasted 15 minutes messing around with this piece of junk before chucking it into the nearest trash can. Would only suck up about 4 ounces of gear oil for a full stroke, leaked everywhere, plunger was biting and rapidly releasing with gradual pressure. Worst 15 minutes of my day. The only satisfying/ enjoyable part was chucking it in the trash can and getting out my old hand pump.

Had it since 2016!
I’ve been using this since 2016 and it just works each and every time. Granted it is not daily use, but I use it enough. Only slight con would be if I wipe it off with parts cleaner some blue comes off. No big deal. Hose is still pliable. Thing still draws fluid up and out. Solid tool. I wish it had a 1/4” hose as well, but this is perfect for transfer cases. Seems overpriced, but buy once cry once. 8 years and still going? Can’t beat that. I doubt some cheap plastic pump would last that long.

Good quality for price
Good quality. Used mostly for automotive use. Much better quality then Princess auto or Canadian Tire units around the same price.
