VTech Spinning Lights Learning Hippo

My daughter needed a toy with a lever to practice that motion. I looked at the always popular See n Say, but it was overpriced, in my opinion. This hippo came up as a suggestion, and it has been great! It is engaging, it has multiple settings (ABCs, animals, and music), and it has multiple ways to manipulate it (buttons, levers, spinning ball, hippo mouth).My daughter quickly figured out how to work the levers, and this is the only toy that she can turn on and off (her finger fits right in the on/off switch).

It's not an electronic toy such as a tablet! Parents can let their child play with this toy and rest assured their child is not in front of a television or computer screen. You can sit with a child and talk about what comes up and it's a great learning tool for 2-5-year-olds. The noise level isn't too bad and the functionality is great for surprising a child with the what's next question. The Hippo doesn't compare to the old See and Say pull-string toys I grew up with.

This is a very well made and a great learning tool a great toy I have two autistic children I have a 8 year old non verbal son and I autistic girl and I recently had to purchase my second one because my children were fighting over them so now they each have to play with one at the same time so this product is great

Variety of features for my 1 1/2yr old granddaughter were perfect to keep her busy and entertained. We had fun pushing buttons and discovering the different features together.

My grandson is 10 months old and loves this! I originally purchased it for him since we had a LONG road trip and it truly entertained him during the time he was awake in the car. He loves to be in his walker and play with it, as well as lay on the floor. Worth every penny and a great learning tool!

I purchased this for my 8 month old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it! The lights and music hold her attention. The lever is easy to use, she presses it effortlessly. A great purchase!!

11mo baby not that interested. May still be a bit too young. Seems educational. My daughter is smart but already walking so she is always on the move! Also sometimes this toy gets turned over and stuck on this irritating noise then we have to flip it over.

Great learning toy with a variety of activities! I bought a second one right away for another gift. I also played with it for 20 minutes before I finished wrapping it :-)
