Replacement for 2019-2020 Chevy Silverado GMC Sierra Crew Cab Side Steps (No fit for Diesel Model) (Hex Style)

The bars look great and are well made! Very little instructions were included with the hardware on how to install them (see picture of the instructions). My 2020 SLE Sierra GMC has multiple pre-drilled, threaded holes specifically for these bars on the frame already. All you have to do is remove the plastic plugs from the holes you will use to hang the brackets from. The brackets for the bars were labeled FR, MR, and RR (front right, middle right, rear right) and the same for the left side and the bars have an “F” on them to tell you that end goes towards the front of the vehicle. I used a ratchet and impact driver with a 13 mm socket for the installation and a small crowbar and flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic plugs from the holes on the frame of the truck. It took me about an hour by myself to install both of the bars. I have included before and after pictures of my truck. I would buy these bars again if needed.

This product is very sturdy and looks very clean. Really like the look on the truck and for the price you can’t beat it. The down side is it was hard to install and there were no instructions anywhere. Also, one nerf bar came a little scratched, which was a bummer. You have to be a little forceful with them when connecting the brackets to the nerf bars. If you have a hand and a ratchet set (which are pretty basic tools) it’s fairly simple. I don't know much about cars/trucks and me and a buddy figured it out in about 90 minutes.If looking to get this make sure you have help installing!Outside the small Scratches, lack of instructions, and a little difficult to install, it’s a great product. Very pleased.

I really like the look of these steps for my 2020 Chevy Silverado. They were easy to install and the pre-dilled holes lined up perfectly. The only reason I would not give five (5) stars is that only after two (2) months they started to rust at the welds! However, they still got a high rating because the customer service department from the seller (Truck Mart Outlet) offered a partial refund or full replacement. I just received my replacements today. I will be applying a POR 15 or other no rust paint to these before installing in order to prevent this from happening again. The product is good. Customer Service exceptional. Thanks.

Super easy to install & looks great

Very easy to install and very sturdy.

The steps arrived a day earlier than expected and was packaged pretty well. The steps are nice and solid, lightweight and the actual step part is pretty wide. I like them alot. When I went to install them I looked for any type of instructions, diagram, or even product labeling to say where what part went. NOTHING there are no instructions, there are 2 sizes of bolts. The smaller size (1/2") is the ones you use to mount the brackets to the truck and the big size (5/8") mounts the rails to the brackets. You kind of have to guess on where to put the brackets at first because again, no instructions. Leave everything super lose (2 turns max, just let it hang) don't tighten anything. If you do, a bolt or 2 won't line up when you install the rails. If you leave them lose you can sort of adjust it well enough to get it started (I just sent it home with a cordless impact). I installed thses steps on a 2020 TrailBoss Custom Crew Cab.
