Great for heavy Bass Guitars
The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it is. The 3-inch width and the thickness of it really helps spread the weight of my bass across my shoulder. Even during longer practice sessions, my shoulder doesn’t get sore like it used to with thinner straps. My back doesn't cave in on itself either, which is a huge boon. Keep in mind that my bass doesn't compare to the heaviest of basses, but my classic 70's Fender Jazz Bass weighs in around 11 pounds with it's maple wood finish. After a while I really notice the difference, and this strap makes it much easier to handle. The leather material itself feels high-quality, soft enough to be comfortable but thick and sturdy so I don’t have to worry about it stretching or wearing out. Adjusting the length can be a tad confusing at first, I had to watch a video initially but when you set it up, it stays exactly where ya want it. It also fits perfectly in my case, I have to bend and squish it in and it always reverts back to it's normal shape after. It also just looks fantastic. The leather has a nice, clean feel that goes perfectly with the vintage aesthetic of my bass. Not flashy, just nice and professional-looking. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted: comfortable, durable, and stylish. If you’ve got a heavier bass or guitar and need a strap that actually makes playing more comfortable, this one’s a solid choice.

A simple way to instantly upgrade your guitar playing experience
Coming from my old reliable standby of the Ernie Ball nylon strap, the Levy's leather padded strap is an instant upgrade to a premium feel. Regardless of the strap being a little stiff right out of the package, the moment it rested on my shoulder, my guitar felt more, at the risk of redundancy, premium. The quality is S tier, with clean edges, precise stitching, and not a single fray or blemish. The width and padding instantly give the shoulder relief of more even weight distribution, and although only slightly wider than the straps I'd accustomed myself to, the only way to describe the difference would be to say the guitar embraced me, vs. a guitar is hanging on my shoulders. 5 stars. I was, in no way, endorsed or compensated for my review here. I bought this strap outright, and I plan to buy one for each of my guitars. I highly recommend it for any level of player looking for a simple way to instantly upgrade their guitar playing comfort experience. Thank you, Levy's. Keep up the great craftsmanship.

Perfect Strap for an Aging Bass Player
Now that I’m in my 40s, I’ve come to appreciate a comfortable guitar strap. Playing bass with a narrow strap for long periods can really wear on your shoulder, so I decided to try the Levy’s Amped Leather Series. The wider design makes a big difference. It distributes the weight of my bass much better and is noticeably more comfortable during longer practice sessions and gigs. The quality is excellent too. The leather feels premium, the stitching is solid, and the strap looks like it will last for years. If you’re a bass player looking for a comfortable, high-quality strap, especially if you’re not as young as you used to be, this one is easy to recommend.

Good quality, reasonably price
I recently purchased the Levy's Leathers 3' Wide Amped Leather Series Guitar Strap and I have been extremely impressed with its quality and comfort. As a musician, having a reliable and comfortable guitar strap is essential and this one definitely delivers. The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful brown and cream color combination. It adds a touch of style to my guitar and looks great on stage. The leather material is also top-notch, with a soft and supple feel that is both durable and comfortable. One of the standout features of this strap is the foam padding. It provides excellent support for my shoulder, even during long gigs or practice sessions. This has made a huge difference in my playing experience, as I no longer have to constantly adjust my strap or deal with discomfort. The garment leather backing is another great addition to this strap. It not only adds to the overall comfort, but also prevents the strap from slipping off my shoulder while playing. This has been a common issue with other straps I have used in the past, but with this one, I can focus on my playing without any distractions. The 3' width of the strap is perfect for my needs. It distributes the weight of my guitar evenly, making it feel lighter and more comfortable to play. I also appreciate the adjustable length, which allows me to find the perfect fit for my height and playing style. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Levy's Leathers 3' Wide Amped Leather Series Guitar Strap. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, comfort, and style. I highly recommend this strap to any musician looking for a reliable and comfortable guitar strap. It's definitely worth the investment.

Excellent Strap For the Price
This is the second strap I purchased from the Levy’s Amped series. The first one went into service 18 months ago and has held up very well through daily practice and on a number of gigs. The new one is set up to be a little shorter to accommodate a few other guitars. The tan one in the picture is a 20 year-old Levy’s strap just to illustrate their durability – it’s been on more than 100 gigs. They are all very durable and super comfortable. Note I use the last bit of the strap and the final hole to make a loop for my cable. I didn’t do that on the new one because it will be utilized on an instrument that doesn’t need the loop. I noticed a few of the negative reviews complained about them being too short. I have to wonder if the reviewers realize they come with the strap set in the shortest position. You can move the tail end into any of the slots to achieve your desired length. For me, that’s 45 inches, Straplok to Straplok. Max length pin to pin is about 50 inches. So, it won’t accommodate a Flea or Dee Dee Ramone playing style; but everyone else should be able to find their happy place. The other complaint in some reviews was the suspicion that the strap may not be genuine leather. It’s a highly finished product – smooth on the top and textured on the padded side. If you give it a leather test (I did) you’ll find that both the shiny top and the textured side are real. Levy’s makes more expensive straps with fancier and more detailed leather, but the Amped series is a bargain at $29.

I might buy another
I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this new. Time will tell about functionality - I haven't done 2 hours with it, and initially it feels good, but the thick shoulder padding covers only 2/3 the width of the strap, so I wonder if that still focuses some pressure instead of spreading evenly all the way across. The outer leather on the wide segment is relative stiff; I wonder if that loosens up over time. The beefiness of it is reassuring. I have another more supple strap that I really like, but they have gotten expensive. This is such a deal.

Short strap. Works fine for me and looks nice, but....
Stiff as a board out of the package. I wasn't too concerned with that, as I imagine over time it will soften up and become more pliable, but getting it onto the strap buttons was definitely a bit of a challenge. The "tail" of the strap is perhaps the shortest I have ever seen on a strap before. I'm average weight and height, and I have the strap set as long as it will go in order to be comfortable to play. If you're a big guy or have a gut, you might want to look elsewhere, unless you like playing with your guitar up by your chest. The padding is a nice and it doesn't slide around easily. It's leather, but appears to be really cheap leather. Top is finished nicely. The strap looks nice. Certainly cheap enough.

Excellent strap!
As advertised. Great strap with the padding to help with heavier guitars. Confident in maintaining the connection to the guitar. Easy to operate.
