We were a 3x workout a week, organic, sugar-free, simple carb-free, alcohol-free and smoke-free household. a small, hard, smooth, unmovable lump popped up on my fiance's neck after a chiro appt. that seemed like it was attached to the SCM last December. After 8 months of this we go back in August and low and behold it IS cancer. Only now it's advanced. While we thought this lump on the lymph was the problem it was actually a 'primary' tumor on the back of his tongue. In the process of waiting to get treated because of 'The Pandemic' it has grown to where his vocal chord is paralyzed from the tumor and he cant talk, he can only drink broth and has lost 40 pounds over this time because eating has become so difficult. The acid a tumor produces in the body in addition to the coughing from mucous production and burning from eating cause unbearable pain 'like a torch' he says. I've bought all 3 of the peptide formulas (this plus, silver and green bag). i read on the Functional Formularies site the peptide version is the best for adults because they include amino acids needed for healing. As the tumor has gotten bigger and his taste and smell have become so sensitive i can't even eat dip with garlic in it next to him w/out him agonizing in pain from the throat burning, the green pouch seems to be the only one he can eat because it's mild. The other 2, esp. including this keto has a slight bitter after taste but not unpleasant. I added a shot of apple cider vinegar plus a squirt of Lakanto Maple flavored syrup to them and i thought they were DELICIOUS. sadly still burned his throat... Once he gets the feeding tube it will probably be a different story but while he's eating it orally i've been going through boxes of the green peptide formula.How to prepare Keto version for tasty ORAL consumption:i shake the bag real good because it collects at the bottom, pour it in a 2 cup measuring cup (squeeze it like a toothpaste tube to get it all),> fill the rest of the measuring cup up with Nana's chicken soup (just the broth) from the Whole Foods hot bar or your favorite broth stock.> add a scoop of Great Lakes Co. Grass fed Collagen powder for extra protein.> add a shot of apple cider vinegar - to taste> add a squirt of Lakanto maple flavored syrup - to taste> cook it in the toaster oven at 425 for 8 minutes.I then pour it in a stainless steel mug (ceramic or glass) with a stainless straw w silicone tip so it doesnt burn his mouth. it's savory and delicious with the added broth, syrup and apple cider. otherwise it has a pleasant, mild taste which is still palatable.There is nothing on the shelf you can buy at a store that is organic plus as healthy as this. It either has high salt, sugar, too strong garlic or onion, crappy ingredients and filled with hard foods he cant eat. What can i say to convince you this is the best feeding tube food on the market other than this testimony? Love the ingredients and the company but it says you can mix this with water for desired consistency but if you are using a pump you CANNOT do this. Due to the amount of fat/oil in keto formulas, water and oil separate and it clogged the feeding set/pump multiple times/alarmed all night/etc, and therefore I had to waste every pouch but the last when I realized it couldn’t be mixed with water as the package states.

Great before the gym 1 hour prior. Much more focused than an energy drink. Health fuel.

Flavor hard to take. Sour and savory with a rather gritty texture. Had to add a lot of water and hold my nose. Still, a good product if you can stomach it.

I blend my own food at home for my son who requires a ketogenic diet. We do a pretty good job with our meal prep but it does take a lot of time and effort. I was excited to hear of this new ready to eat Keto Meal that can make things a lot of easier for all of us. It is made from real food that has been formulated and blended to give an excellent Ketogenic ratio. I am also excited to see that his product is loaded with organic, vegetable-based ingredients which we typically never get enough of. Both my son and I tried the product with a little bit of cinnamon spice and it was quite good. I also saw that there is a free cookbook on the Company's website that uses the product as an ingredient...the recipes look delicious and we can't wait to try them this weekend.

Very oil, terrible flavor, very thick and looks like puppy poo.

Gave me some hardcore D. Had two packets and the rest are just sitting in my closet because I’m too scared to have them and they’re too expensive to throw away. I’m guessing the very high levels of saturated fat are to blame for my issues.
